A Boeing 737 passenger plane of Indonesia's Sriwijaya Air that went missing on Saturday&nbsp;is&nbsp;'suspected' to have crashed as per Indonesia's transport minister. Indonesia's transport minister said that 62 people including the crew were onboard. This included 10 children. As per the ministry, last contact with the plane was made at 0740 GMT on Saturday.

Local broadcaster Kompas TV quoted local fishermen as saying they had found debris near islands just off the coast of the capital Jakarta, but it could not be immediately confirmed as having belonged to the missing jet.

Sriwijaya Air CEO Jefferson Irwin Jauwena told reporters that the plane was in good condition.

Indonesia's detik.com web site has quoted&nbsp;Indonesian Transport Minister Budi Karya as saying that the plane has crashed near Laki islands.

As per flight tracking website Flightradar24, the aircraft lost more than 3000 metres in less than a minute soon after its take off from the airport in Jakarta.

"Sriwijaya Air flight #SJ182 lost more than 10,000 feet of altitude in less than one minute, about 4 minutes after departure from Jakarta," the tracking agency said on its official Twitter account.

Indonesia's transport ministry is probing the incident.

The Sriwijaya Air&nbsp;plane was not a Boeing 737 Max which has hit headlines in recent years&nbsp;due to major crashes.

A Boeing 737 Max had crashed in Indonesia in October 2018 leaving 189 people dead. The aircraft belonging to Indonesian Lion Air had crashed into the sea.

Another Boeing 737 Max had crashed later on in Ethiopia. Boeing then had to shell out USD 2.5 billion in fines and 737 Max aircrafts were grounded.

As Khan met them, he told them the attack on the miners was meant to stoke conflict between the two major sects of Islam, Sunnis and Shi`ites, to destabilise Pakistan.

He also thanked the families for accepting the government`s request to bury the bodies.

Most of the miners were impoverished seasonal migrants. Seven were from neighbouring Afghanistan, its consulate said.

Imran Khan had drawn harsh criticism a few days ago after he alleged that there were attempts to "blackmail" him into meeting the families.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth the Second, on Saturday, joined the list of prominent global leaders and royals to have received the coronavirus vaccine. The Queen and her husband Prince Philip received COVID-19 vaccine. The announcement was made by Buckingham Palace in a rare public comment on private health matters of the monarch.

"The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh have today received Covid-19 vaccinations," a Buckingham Palace spokesman said.

We may have all of modern medicine and knowledge at our disposal and quickly devise out rules to tackle pandemic, but few of us know that rules of social distancing and pandemic control were formally set up by a man 432 years ago.

The man, or the doctor, was Quinto Tiberio Angelerio. During his stay in Italian port town of Alghero, he noticed early signs of the bubonic plague in 1852 and decided to take quick action.

50-year-old Dr Angelerio had recently come from Sicily, which had seen an epidemic in 1575.

Angelerio wrote a book based on his knowledge and experience and prescribed 57 rules for public to follow. The rules are strikingly familiar to those we are following today to combat COVID-19 pandemic

One of the most striking of his rules was of social distancing. He prescribed that each citizen should carry a measured stick and keep a six-foot distance from other people.&nbsp;

The doctor advised people to stay inside their homes. He said that only one person from a household should head out to run essential errands. He asked people to thoroughly wash and disinfect their homes.

He advised against handshakes, holding meetings, organising entertainment programs.

He insisted that food shops erect railings so that customers can maintain distance from one another.

Dr Angelerio hounded local authorities to establish a cordon around the city so that infection doesn't spread to neighbouring districts.

These measures appear normal to us today, but 400 years ago, this was markedly a forward-thinking exercise carried out by Dr Angelerio.

His efforts met with stiff resistance initially as public and local authorities rubbished his plan. They thought he was unnecessarily worrying and talking about an apocalyptic situation. Undeterred, Dr Angelerio directly met the viceroy and got a go-ahead.

His efforts paid off and the infection was succesfully contained. It did not spread to adjacent districts.

It was a time before modern medicine and next to nothing was known about how diseases are caused. The general understanding was that diseases were caused due to "bad air" and Vinegar was considered an excellent antiseptic.

The traditional 'medical treatments' consisted of bizarre practices such as bathing in urine.

The drugs -- tocilizumab and sarilumab -- have been shown to reduce risk of death by 24 percent for critically ill patients, and cut the time spent in intensive care by up to 10 days, it said.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock called the deployment of the drugs, normally used for rheumatoid arthritis, a "landmark development". Johnson said they could save thousands of lives.

Dannaoui said the army tried to thwart the smuggling operation before the&nbsp;ship&nbsp;sailed out of the Qalamoun region, south of Tripoli, but could not reach the departure point in time.

An ensuing sea chase saw two naval patrols trying to force the&nbsp;migrant&nbsp;boat to turn back.

"Unfortunately, the captain (of the&nbsp;migrant&nbsp;boat) decided to carry out manoeuvres to escape," leading to the vessel crashing into the patrol ships, Dannaoui said.

The impact cracked the hull of the&nbsp;migrant&nbsp;boat, which quickly submerged, he said.

"In less than five seconds, the boat was under water," Dannaoui said, adding that passengers were quickly handed life jackets.

But one of the survivors said a naval&nbsp;ship&nbsp;had deliberately crashed into the&nbsp;migrant&nbsp;boat to force it back.

"Tho patrol boat crashed into us twice... to drown us," the man told AFP at the port, before he was silenced and carried&nbsp;off&nbsp;by a crowd of survivors' relatives.

The United Nations humanitarian coordinator for&nbsp;Lebanon&nbsp;Najat Rochdi called for an end to these repeated tragedies.&nbsp;

"It's horrific to see deprivation still pushing people to take a perilous journey across the seas," she said on Twitter.&nbsp;

Dan revealed how the social media numbers got influenced as well.&nbsp;

“Earlier, Inter Miami had a decent Instagram following (around 1 million) before Messi joined the club, and they are now at 13 million followers. We have seen the response on social media in his first couple of games. He's a global icon, and he's resonating,” MLS’ Executive VP added.

He added when Messi travels across USA (Since he played three home games so far), there are going to be packed stadiums everywhere.
