It has been found that for humans, the temperature niche lies at an average temperature of 13 degrees Celsius. But climate change is threatening to change the average temperature.

The study says that global warming is set to change the average temperatures drastically than in last 6,000 years. The researchers calculate that a temperature increase of even 1 degree Celsius will displace a billion people worldwide.&nbsp;

Tehreek-i-Labbaik (TLP), the hardline religious group in Pakistan on Monday said that it was ending its sit-in in Wazirabad, reported Pakistani news outlet Dawn. At least 21 people, including 10 policemen, lost their lives during fierce confrontation between the TLP workers and law enforcement authorities in recent days.

After the bloody clashes, the group had reached Wazirabad town on the Grand Trunk Road when a ?secret agreement? was reached with the government on October 31.

The notification stated that the TLP had been placed in the First Schedule as a proscribed organisation by the federal government on April 15 this year on the recommendation of Home Department of Punjab.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had on Saturday approved the revocation of the ban on TLP.

More than 39,000 people are registered for the summit. One problem: Capacity in the main venue is limited to 10,000 people because of COVID restrictions.

That has led to bottlenecks, long security lines and frustration, especially among civil society groups that were already angry that the U.N. had capped their presence inside the negotiating halls.

Everyone entering the venue, known as the “blue zone,” is asked to take a daily rapid coronavirus test. But for all the talk of strict controls, participants simply self-report their results. It is basically an honor system.

The United States ‘showed up.’

For nearly four years, the United States worked to undermine the progress of climate talks. Former President Donald Trump withdrew the United States from the Paris climate agreement and vowed to burn more, not less, gas, oil and coal.

President Joe Biden arrived in Glasgow and flipped the script. He promised to show the world that the United States is “leading by the power of our example.”

Asked about the leaders of other countries, particularly those of China and Russia, who did not attend, Biden said, “We showed up.”

But some pivotal leaders didn’t.

The absences of Presidents Xi Jinping of China, Vladimir Putin of Russia and Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil were notable.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia did show up — but with an emissions target that experts said falls far short of what is needed. Brazil pledged to end deforestation by 2028. Activists are skeptical that Bolsonaro will follow through.

Both Russia and China have targets that, experts say, are not enough to keep the planet on a relatively safe trajectory. Leaving Glasgow, Biden scolded Xi and Putin for not attending. Officials in Beijing hit back, noting Biden was unable to persuade his own party to vote for climate legislation necessary to meet the United States’ aggressive targets.

Sparring will not solve the climate crisis. And it remains unclear whether the two biggest emitters, China and the United States, can move past tensions over trade and human rights to work together.

Banks and other lenders said they had $130 trillion to finance projects that aim to get companies and countries to net-zero emissions. The number, more than five times the size of the U.S. economy, grabbed headlines.

The next target: Ending coal

Yet the issue is deeply contentious. At the start of the summit, the prime minister of Fiji, Frank Bainimarama, told Morrison of Australia that “coal has no place in this century.” Morrison has clearly said he will not discuss fossil fuel mandates or bans.

5 takeaways from the first days of the climate summit

Paceman Kagiso Rabada defended 10 runs in the Super Over to steer Delhi&nbsp;to a thrilling victory over Kolkata after the home side made heavy weather of a run chase here Saturday.

He said that the State Department had arranged for treatment of those affected at Johns Hopkins University, and was collecting baseline data from US diplomats before they deploy to use in analyzing reported cases.

Blinken appointed veterans envoys Jonathan Moore to coordinate the overall response and Margaret Uyehara to ensure that anyone reporting symptoms got full medical care.

He also said the department is deploying new technology at embassies and missions to help evaluate and protect staff from threats that could be linked to cases.

Havana Syndrome: Blinken vows to solve mystery of illness affecting US diplomats

Irish police said on Saturday that they arrested a man suspected of making threats. The national media said that the arrested man was suspected of threatening to kill a British MP.

The Garda, Ireland's police service, said in a statement that they arrested a 41-year-old man in Cork in southwestern Ireland on Saturday morning "on suspicion of making threats against a person from outside this jurisdiction".

The police said that officials seized number of electronic devices when they searched the man's residential property.

RTE national broadcaster reported that "it is understood that the person targeted by the alleged threat is a Westminster MP".

The Irish Times reported that the investigation concerned "threats to kill a female Labour MP".

It said it understood that the MP had alerted police after she received a phone call on October 18 in which a person threatened to kill her. This was three days after the murder of Amess.
