'Harry Potter' fame Miriam Margolyes, 81, shares her coming-out story in new docuseries

<p>Oscar-winning filmmaker Paul Haggis can breathe a sigh of relief now as the judge handling his sexual abuse case in the southern Italian city of Lecce has ruled in his favour. In his judgement, the judge reportedly stated that there are no grounds to further pursue an investigation into the director’s sexual abuse case.</p>

<p>On Friday, the court passed its judgement on the case and the Italian news Agency ANSA reported the same on Saturday. Elaborating on the final judgement, Haggis’ Italian lawyer Michele Laforgia said in a statement issued on Saturday, “After viewing the evidence and hearing arguments from both sides, the District Court of Lecce, an appellate court with three judges, unanimously rejected a prosecutor’s appeal to have Haggis’ house arrest reinstated.”</p>

<p>The advocate further added, “Two weeks ago, Judge Vilma Gilli of the Court of Brindisi questioned the alleged victim and then immediately overturned Haggis’ house arrest.”</p>

<p>Reports suggest that the prosecutor of Brindisi appealed the decision to the Court of Lecce. However, Haggis’ lawyer&nbsp;presented what he says is “irrefutable and objective evidence that the woman told multiple lies to investigators and the court, with facts and witnesses completely contradicting her story.”</p>

<p>Haggis’ lawyer Laforgia also reportedly&nbsp;stated that the director’s arrest was the result of a judicial error and that the prosecutors must now close the case based on the evidence. He also stated that this is expected to happen in the coming weeks&nbsp;unless new evidence surfaces.</p>

<p>Reports suggest that the Court of Lecce contacted attorneys of both parties&nbsp;on Friday to inform them of the court’s decision that rejected the public prosecutor’s appeal and confirmed the decision made by judge Gilli.&nbsp;Four judges have now ruled in favour of the filmmaker.</p>

<p>“In the coming weeks, the reasons for the decision will be known and, therefore, so will the fate of the judicial proceedings pending in Italy,” Laforgia noted in the statement.</p>

On Friday, the court passed its judgement on the case and the Italian news Agency ANSA reported the same on Saturday. Elaborating on the final judgement, Haggis’ Italian lawyer Michele Laforgia said in a statement issued on Saturday, “After viewing the evidence and hearing arguments from both sides, the District Court of Lecce, an appellate court with three judges, unanimously rejected a prosecutor’s appeal to have Haggis’ house arrest reinstated.” The advocate further added, “Two weeks ago, Judge Vilma Gilli of the Court of Brindisi questioned the alleged victim and then immediately overturned Haggis’ house arrest.” Reports suggest that the prosecutor of Brindisi appealed the decision to the Court of Lecce. However, Haggis’ lawyer presented what he says is “irrefutable and objective evidence that the woman told multiple lies to investigators and the court, with facts and witnesses completely contradicting her story.” Haggis’ lawyer Laforgia also reportedly stated that the director’s arrest was the result of a judicial error and that the prosecutors must now close the case based on the evidence. He also stated that this is expected to happen in the coming weeks unless new evidence surfaces. Reports suggest that the Court of Lecce contacted attorneys of both parties on Friday to inform them of the court’s decision that rejected the public prosecutor’s appeal and confirmed the decision made by judge Gilli. Four judges have now ruled in favour of the filmmaker. “In the coming weeks, the reasons for the decision will be known and, therefore, so will the fate of the judicial proceedings pending in Italy,” Laforgia noted in the statement. Chitrangda Singh to produce film on Pram Vir Chakra recipient Yogendra Yadav

<p>It seems that American comedian Chris Rock is in no mood to address Will Smith's apology video, but is still okay&nbsp;making passing jokes about the Oscar incident. While performing on a stage in Atlanta on Friday night for his 'Chris Rock Ego Death World Tour',&nbsp;he addressed the infamous slap and called the 'Men In Black' actor 'Suge Smith'.</p>

<p>Rock's comments came&nbsp;hours after Smith posted a six-minute-long video to show how "deeply remorseful" he is for slapping the former during the Academy Awards in March.</p>

<p>"Everybody is trying to be a f---ing victim. If everybody claims to be a victim, then nobody will hear the real victims," Rock said. "Even me getting smacked by Suge Smith. I went to work the next day, I got kids."</p>

<p>Rock later quipped, "Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face."</p>

<p>Smith's latest apology video starts with the text, "Over the last few months, I've been doing a lot of thinking and personal work. You asked a lot of fair questions that I wanted to take some time to answer."</p>

<p>Smith is then seen entering a room and talking about&nbsp;his altercation with Rock. He explained&nbsp;why he didn't apologize to Rock during his Oscar win acceptance speech for best actor in 'King Richard'. "I was fogged out by that point," he said. "It's all fuzzy."</p>

<p>Smith also shared that he's tried to contact Rock, but he indicated that he's not ready to talk and will reach out when he feels comfortable. "So I will say to you Chris, I apologize to you. My behaviour was unacceptable and I'm here whenever you are ready to talk," Smith adds.</p>

I went to work the next day, I got kids." Rock later quipped, "Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face." Smith's latest apology video starts with the text, "Over the last few months, I've been doing a lot of thinking and personal work. You asked a lot of fair questions that I wanted to take some time to answer." Smith is then seen entering a room and talking about his altercation with Rock. He explained why he didn't apologize to Rock during his Oscar win acceptance speech for best actor in 'King Richard'. "I was fogged out by that point," he said. "It's all fuzzy." Smith also shared that he's tried to contact Rock, but he indicated that he's not ready to talk and will reach out when he feels comfortable. "So I will say to you Chris, I apologize to you. My behaviour was unacceptable and I'm here whenever you are ready to talk," Smith adds. <p>After getting individual vlogs from popular K-pop band BTS' members V, J-Hope and Jimin, ARMY got a major surprise when RM dropped a vlog on the Bangtan TV YouTube channel. On Saturday, a new vlog arrived online and fans just couldn't keep calm. Hashtags started trending on Twitter and the video received over 2.7 million views within a few hours.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the 34-minute-long video, RM is seen travelling across Switzerland and visiting museums and art stores. He can also be seen feasting on different delicacies with a big smile on his face. The clip starts with RM talking to the camera from his bed. "Today, I'm finally going to be off to Basel...I felt like I had to do something since I'm filming a vlog," he said. Next, the Korean rapper packed his luggage, went to the airport and headed for Basel.</p>

<p>RM stayed in Switzerland for four days. There&nbsp;he attended Art Basel,&nbsp;took a tram to visit the Foundation Beyeler,&nbsp;visited Lucerne and hiked to Mount Rigi and also strolled through the city and enjoyed sightseeing. On the third day of his trip, the rapper visited the Kunstmuseum Basel, the Vitra Design Museum and a gallery.</p>

<p>RM even showed a chair made by Coldplay's Chris Martin to his fans. It was displayed in the Vitra Design Museum.&nbsp;</p>
