<p>The latest high-profile animal cruelty case comes after French footballer Kurt Zouma was in June sentenced to 180 hours' community service by a British court for abusing his cat, which also came to light in a viral video.</p>

<p>The arrest of the Rwandan star, who was due to hold two concerts in Burundi on Thursday and Friday, was in connection with the cancellation of performances in 2018 and 2021. The interior ministry had cancelled the concerts at the last minute, first due to a diplomatic crisis between Rwanda and Burundi and the second time because of the Covid-19 pandemic.</p>

<p>"One of (the concert) promoters, Toussaint Niyukuri, filed a complaint with the police and demanded that the Rwandan singer reimburse a deposit of $2,000 which he had paid to him at the time," a relative of the musician told AFP on condition of anonymity.</p>

<p>Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden-starrer Amazon Original series 'Citadel' is reportedly on the track to become the second most expensive show ever made, after 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' which is said to be at least $465 million.</p>

<p>As per the latest reports, the series has overrun its already massive budget due to ridiculously expensive reshoots and the shocking exit of half of its creative team. It may now cost much above $200 million.</p>

<p>The news broke today at The Hollywood Reporter, which reported that the spy thriller was already costing somewhere around $160 million net and due to cost overruns and creative differences, an additional cost of $75 million has been attached to it. This has resulted in the series quietly becoming one of the most expensive shows ever produced.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Amazon is yet to comment on the budget and the exits.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The report further quotes sources who claimed that the megacorporation&nbsp;had reservations about early footage of the series, with the Russo Brothers, who were busy&nbsp;with their pricey action project&nbsp;'The Gray Man'.&nbsp;This led to “creative differences” and two competing cuts, one pushed by the Russos, the other by Appelbaum and Nemec.</p>

<p>Between Joe Russo and Appelbaum, Amazon chose to bet on the Russos, and days before Christmas, Appelbaum made his shocking exit from the series.</p>

<p>Appelbaum, along with Brian Kirk, directed five out of seven episodes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>But the 16-episode series, which follows a rookie lawyer whose condition helps her find brilliant solutions to legal conundrums but often leaves her socially isolated, has gone beyond memes to trigger a serious debate in South Korea about autism.</p>

<p>Star lawyer Woo Young-woo is fiercely intelligent, with an IQ of 164, but also has visible autistic traits such as echolalia -- the precise repetition of words or sentences, often out of context.</p>

<p>Lead actress Park Eun-bin, 29, who has received rave reviews, said she initially hesitated to accept the role, aware of the power of the story to impact perceptions of autistic people in South Korea and beyond.</p>

<p>"I felt I had a moral responsibility as an actor," she told AFP.&nbsp;"I knew (the show) was inevitably going to have an influence on people with autism and their families," she said, adding that she had questioned whether she would be able to pull off the complex character.</p>

<p>"It was the first time that I had absolutely no idea what to do, when it came to how to express things, while I was reading the script," she added.</p>

<p><strong>'Erased' in South Korea&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>But in South Korea, some families of autistic people have described the show as pure "fantasy", saying her character is unrealistic. For many on the spectrum, achieving like Woo would be equivalent to "a kid winning an Olympic medal for cycling without being able to walk yet", Lee Dong-ju, the mother of an autistic child, told a local broadcaster.</p>

<p>But while Woo is clearly "a fictional character that has been created to maximise the dramatic effect", there is actually more truth to her story than many South Koreans realise, said psychiatry professor Kim Eui-jung of the Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital.</p>

<p>About a third of people on the spectrum have average or above-average intelligence, she said, and may not have any noticeable autistic characteristics -- or even realise they have the condition.</p>

<p>This was the case for Lee Da-bin, who is on the spectrum but was not diagnosed until later in life.</p>

<p>"People don't recognize the mild forms of autism at all," she said. "I feel that I'm being erased."</p>

<p>Lee shares many traits with the fictional Woo, from hypersensitivity to taste to academic excellence despite suffering from bullying. She grew up knowing she was different but blamed herself for not being able to fit in.</p>

<p>It was only after she had dropped out of school and began seeing a psychiatrist for depression that she was diagnosed with autism and her teenage struggles to connect with others began to make sense.</p>

<p>"It was a life where you would not even speak 10 words a day," Lee told AFP of her time at school.</p>

<p>"I'd lived my whole life thinking that I'm just a weird person... and it's my fault that I can't get along with other people."</p>

<p><strong>Limited understanding</strong></p>

<p>"Public awareness or understanding of high-functioning autism is still very limited in South Korea," said Kim Hee-jin, professor in psychiatry at Chung-Ang University Hospital in Seoul.</p>

<p>The general public views autism as "a condition that involves severe intellectual disability", she said, adding this contributed to broader failures to diagnose and offer support early on.</p>

<p>Early interventions can help prevent those on the spectrum "from blaming themselves for the challenges they face due to autism, such as difficulty making and maintaining friendships."</p>

<p>Whenever you travel to a new place, let alone a new continent, you must keep a travel guide handy. Since there are a ton of travel requirements, some restrictions and even guidelines for different countries, every traveller, be it solo or in a group, must conduct proper research about their final destination before stepping on the aircraft.</p>

<p>Since I recently travelled to a few countries in Africa including Kenya, Ethiopia and Tanzania, I have listed some backpacking rules, important info and travel tips below. It will help every first-time traveller have a safe, comfortable and enjoyable stay there.</p>

<h2>Best time to visit</h2>

<p>Since Africa is a huge continent with varied landscapes, climates and wildlife, you must choose the best time to visit your desired country according to your interests and what you’re hoping to see during your vacation.</p>

<p>If you wish to go on a safari trip, visit between May to August since the wildlife is easy to spot and you may see elusive creatures like rhinos, lions and leopards. Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe offer incredible safari experiences. If you wish to see the marine life there, you can travel to various tourist spots all around the year. Zanzibar in Tanzania,&nbsp;île Saint-Marie in Madagascar, Camps Bay in Cape Town, South Africa, Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique, and Lamu Island in Kenya have some of the best beaches in the continent.</p>

<p>Usually, the weather is great on the continent during September, October, March and April months.</p>

<p>For the best safari destinations, you must visit East Africa and enjoy incredible wildlife sightings. Most people love to travel to Kenya or Tanzania to watch the Great Migration that takes place every year between July and September. You can also trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro or take a short flight to great honeymoon destinations like Madagascar, Seychelles, Reunion, and Mauritius. Uganda is the best travel destination for gorilla trekking.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the Southern part of Africa, you can travel to popular tourist destinations like Cape Town, Victoria Falls, Sossusvlei, Kruger National Park, and Chobe National Park.</p>

<p>Central Africa is the least-visited region in Africa due to political instability and bad tourist infrastructure.</p>

	<li>If you are planning a trip to Africa, you will have to take a few vaccinations a couple of days or weeks prior to your date of arrival. Depending on where you’re travelling, you might need a yellow fever vaccination or polio vaccination. Consult your GP at least 2 to 3 weeks prior to your Africa trip.</li>
	<li>Since Malaria is a serious issue in several parts of Africa, you must take anti-malarial medication, wear clothes with long sleeves and trousers, and use insect repellent.</li>
	<li>Sunburn is a serious issue in Africa. So make sure that you carry sunblock with you at all times.</li>
	<li>Only a few cities have good health facilities and most rural areas only have a basic healthcare system. So, you must get yourself travel insurance that covers all of your travel activities, as well as emergency repatriation.</li>
	<li>Tap water is unsuitable for drinking in Africa so pack refillable bottles and ask your hotel or lodge to fill them up for you.</li>
	<li>Since there are several water-borne diseases such as bilharzia in Africa, don't bathe in rivers and lakes unless it's safe to do so.</li>
	<li>Same sex couples are advised to act discretely in public and be aware of local laws and customs.</li>

	<li>Be careful when you drive in some parts of Africa as local driving standards may be low in some regions.</li>
	<li>Wear modest clothes as some parts of the continent are conservative.</li>
	<li>Keep appropriate shoes and clothing items in your luggage if you wish to experience the many wonders of the nature.</li>

<p>It seems that Young Thug wants to go out of his way to help Kanye West fulfil his dream of launching Yeezy stores worldwide. He is willing to support&nbsp;Yeezy's retail expansion and offer his resources for the same.&nbsp;</p>

<p>From prison, the 'Hot' rapper made a generous offer to West on Thursday night. Offering his 100 acres of land in Georgia, he wrote on his Instagram stories, "However many you need they’re yours free of charge. On GOD."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Thug's post came a day after Kanye, who goes by the name Ye, accused Gap and Adidas of not&nbsp;upholding their contractual obligations to build permanent Yeezy stores. According to the rapper, the two brands are yet to fulfil their promises.</p>
