Now,&nbsp;the chief of Indian pharma giant Biocoin Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw has strongly criticised Pink Tax, denouncing the gender-based pricing disparity faced by women.

Sharing a video X that highlighted the pricing disparity, the Biocon chief highlighted the exorbitant pricing of women's products in comparison to equivalent male products of the same size and quantity.

Encouraging women to boycott such items, she addresses the pervasive issue of gender-based price discrepancies, particularly in personal care products like soaps, lotions, razor blades and deodorants.

Mazumdar-Shaw wrote, "Pink Tax! A shameful gender bias that women must respond to by shunning such products." 
 
The post gained significant traction, amassing nearly 200,000 views within hours, with other users expressing support for her stance.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has criticised the invitation extended by Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray for him to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) as immature and ridiculous.

Nitin Gadkari, a member of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), currently serves as the Member of Parliament (MP) from Nagpur in Maharashtra, and has won the seat in the 2014 and 2019 general elections.

Thackeray's offer to Gadkari surfaced after the latter's name was notably absent from the BJP's initial list, which announced candidates for 195 seats.

The 66-year-old former BJP president expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the BJP, winning 400 seats and securing a third consecutive term under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Lok Sabha polls, anticipated to take place in April-May, hold significance for Maharashtra,&nbsp;which contributes 48 members to the 543-seat Lok Sabha, second only to Uttar Pradesh (80).

The indictment does not explicitly implicate the Chinese government or disclose the identity of the contact who provided payment.

Schultz is accused of transmitting "original and exclusive documents" as instructed, covering intelligence related to Russia's conflict in Ukraine, the operability of sensitive US military systems, and contingency plans for Taiwan in case of an attack.

Messages from Schultz, including a reference to wanting to be like "Jason Bourne," and expressing eagerness for additional funds from his handler, were highlighted in the indictment.

This incident follows the recent arrest of a retired US Army colonel in Nebraska for allegedly sharing classified information through a foreign dating website.
