<p>"So they’re going to get millions of dollars but the woman, the wife, this beautiful woman, I handed her the check—we handed her the check,” the Republican nominee says in the clip, recalling his meeting with Helen Comperatore. “And she said, ‘This is so nice, and I appreciate it, but I’d much rather have my husband.’ Now I know some of the women in this room wouldn’t say the same."</p>

<p>The attendees at the event had to contribute $500,000 to join the host committee or $25,000 to attend. Notably, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Rep. Lauren Boebert, Steve Wynn, and billionaire Thomas Peterffy were at the event.</p>

<p>The Guardian reported that Trump arrived at the event in his private jet and went on a rant against migrants. He launched a profanity-laden tirade against undocumented migrants, an issue he has used as a major tool in the run-up to the November presidential election.</p>

<p>He called out political leaders for facilitating the entry of convicted criminals into the US. He also recounted an incident that supposedly didn't happen about more than 20 individuals he said travelled to the US after being released from prison in a Central African nation.</p>

<p>“We said, ‘Where do you come from?’ They said, ‘Prison.’ ‘What did you do?’ ‘None of your f---ing business what we did,’” he reportedly narrated an exchange between an alleged migrant and an unnamed official. “You know why? Because they’re murderers.”</p>

<p>He seemingly admits that his language wasn't appropriate. "I hate to use that foul language," he said.</p>

<p>The group was staging a protest against Liquid Natural Gas to show the effect it had on the oceans of the world.</p>

<p>The horrific protest unfolded in front of the International Maritime Organization, the UN agency responsible for regulating maritime transport. Members of the Ocean Rebellion group stood outside, with one of them dressed as an "ocean goddess".&nbsp;</p>

<p>She wore a fish bowl over her head which was filled with fake black oil by another person. A campaigner poured the fake oil inside the bowl from the top to create a scene where it looked like she was drowning.</p>

<p>The liquid engulfed her face, as she looked terrified "drowning" in the fake oil. It then drained out.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Others around her wore gas masks and put petrol pumps on fire.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Notably, the protests happened as the agency’s Marine Environment Protection Committee met on the final day to discuss ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from ships.</p>

<p>Ocean Rebellion campaigners say that the agency is manipulating the fossil fuel industry. It says that the oceans are dying and the group is not doing anything to protect them.</p>

<p>"Poseidon, The Goddess of the Ocean is here to protect our seas! On Monday, she stood up against the #IMO’s greenwashing lies about LNG. We need real climate action, and she’s leading the charge!" the group wrote on X.</p>

<p>The march by French people comes a day after judges at the mass rape trial in Avignon agreed to allow videos made by Dominique Pelicot of the alleged abuse of his wife to be shown to the press and public in the courtroom.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Former United States (US) president and current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Friday (Oct 4) that he believed that Israel should&nbsp;strike Iran's nuclear facilities in response to the Islamic Republic's recent missile barrage.</p>

<p>Speaking at a campaign event in North Carolina, Trump referred to a question posed to President Joe Biden this week about the possibility of Israel targeting Iran's nuclear program.</p>

<p>"They asked him, what do you think about Iran, would you hit Iran? And he goes, 'As long as they don't hit the nuclear stuff.' That's the thing you want to hit, right?" Trump said.</p>

<h2><strong>'The answer is no'</strong></h2>

<p>On Wednesday, Biden was asked&nbsp;whether he would support strikes against Iranian nuclear sites and the US president told reporters: "The answer is no." Two days later, Trump highlighted at his campaign event that nuclear weapons were the biggest risk.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"They asked him (President Biden) What do you think about, what do you think about Iran? Would you hit Iran? And he goes, 'As long as they don't hit the nuclear stuff.' That's the thing you want to hit, right? I said I think he's got that one wrong. Isn't that what you're supposed to hit? I mean, it's the biggest risk we have, nuclear weapons, the power of nuclear weapons, the power of weaponry," Trump said.</p>

<p>"You know, I rebuilt the entire military jets, everything I built it including nuclear and I hated to build a nuclear but I got to know firsthand the power of that stuff. And I'll tell you what, we have to be totally prepared. We have to be absolutely prepared," he added.</p>

<p>Trump has spoken little about the recent escalation in tensions in West Asia&nbsp;since the Israel-Hamas war broke out on October 7 last year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Earlier this week, Trump issued a scathing statement,&nbsp;holding Biden and Vice President and current Democratic candidate Kamala Harris responsible for the crisis.</p>
