<p>The Israeli defence ministry said on Thursday it had signed an agreement to acquire 25 next-generation F-15 fighter jets from Boeing Co.</p>

<p>It said the $5.2 billion agreement was part of a broader package of U.S. aid approved by the U.S. administration and Congress earlier this year and included an option for 25 additional aircraft.</p>

<p>Delivery of the new F-15IA aircraft will begin in 2031, with 4-6 aircraft to be supplied annually, it said.</p>

<p>The aircraft will be equipped with weapons systems integrated with existing Israeli weapons as well as having increased range and payloads.</p>

<p>"These advantages will enable the Israeli Air Force to maintain its strategic superiority in addressing current and future challenges in the Middle East," the ministry said in a statement.</p>

<p>"This F-15 squadron, alongside the third F-35 squadron procured earlier this year, represents a historic enhancement of our air power and strategic reach - capabilities that proved crucial during the current war," the director general of the defence ministry, Eyal Zamir, said in the statement.</p>

<p>For Boeing, the F-15 agreement is the second major deal this year. In August, flag carrier El Al Israel Airlines, signed a deal with Boeing for the purchase of up to 31 737 MAX aircraft worth as much as $2.5 billion, beating out rival Airbus.</p>

<p>In a successful test, a supersonic aircraft—which has the nickname “Son of Concorde”—came close to the speed of sound Mach 1 on Tuesday (Nov 5). This aircraft can now help travellers fly between New York and London in only three and a half hours.</p>

<p>This entire process fears Longo of the worst and he is ready to sue over.</p>

<p>“This is much bigger than a squirrel and a raccoon. This is about government overreach,” he said. “We want justice for what transpired at my home. You violated my home. You assassinated my animals.”</p>

<p>“I got wind of my animals being murdered through a news station,” Longo said. “I, as a New York State citizen, got my animals murdered by my own government, and my own government couldn’t call me to tell me what happened. I had to read it in a newspaper.</p>

<p>The phrase "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" from the 1960s has become a slogan for Palestine supporters against the Israeli occupation in Gaza after the October 7th attack that sparked the Israel-Hamas war.</p>

<p>The UN told Fox News that a staff member informed the organisation a few displays, along with the one with the phrase, could not be displayed.</p>

<p>After which the painting was kept covered in the second week of October but "someone removed those covers" earlier this week.</p>

<p>Fire Chief Dustin Gardner said that the blaze was being fuelled by strong&nbsp;Santa Ana winds, adding, that the wildfire&nbsp;led to widespread evacuations and structural damage in areas like Somis and Camarillo Heights.</p>

<p>“This is a classic Santa Ana wind event. We've got sustained winds more than 50 miles an hour with gusts over 80. Every firefighter in the region, all of our partners from Los Angeles City, Los Angeles County, Orange County, Kern County, Santa Barbara County, our partners at Cal Fire, our partners in the sheriff," Gardner said in a video address on Wednesday</p>

<p>"Every law enforcement agency available, every helicopter, every fixed-wing aircraft, everything we've been able to get a hold of is here fighting this fire and it is moving at a dangerous rate of spread,” he added.&nbsp;</p>
