In a shocking video, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) showed&nbsp;a tunnel “strategically” built under a cemetery in Lebanon, which the IDF troops dismantled later.

The Israeli military on Sunday (Nov 10) said it destroyed multiple underground tunnels used by Hezbollah members in Lebanon, including the one that was allegedly found under a cemetery.&nbsp;

The tunnel was a kilometre long with housed command and control rooms, as the video shows. It also featured sleeping quarters and weapon caches, as seen in an X post shared by the official handle of IDF.&nbsp;

"Hezbollah doesn't value human life -- dead or alive," the IDF said.&nbsp;

Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah have been engaged in a full-blown war across the Lebanese border since the war in Gaza started after Hamas attacked Israeli towns on October 7 last year.

Since the cross-border ground assault into Lebanon in September this year, the Israeli military says it has found multiple tunnel shafts including one which was 25 metres long, as per IDF.

Last month also the IDF released a video of a tunnel allegedly used by Hezbollah members under a Lebanese civilian house and said it was "nothing like" the one built by Hamas members in Gaza.

In the video, an Israeli troop was seen showing a "hundred-metre" tunnel in south Lebanon with iron doors, "functioning" rooms, AK-47 rifles, a bedroom, a bathroom, a storage room of generators, water tanks and two-wheelers.

“All the dogs in the area started barking at once when the vocalisations ended. Normally there are many owls in the area and when I had gone outside previously I could hear them,” said the witness, and added that some of the noises were not coming from a coyote, bobcat, cougar or fox.

“When I had noticed the vocalizations had ended it was probably a good ten minutes before I could hear the owls again,” he added.
