Bomb Cyclone set to hit US West Coast, shower 8 trillion gallons in California

The dead body of an Indian-origin 24-year-old woman, identified as Harshita Brella, was found in the trunk of a car in east London after the police were informed that she had gone missing in Corby, Northamptonshire.

On Saturday (Nov.&nbsp;16), the police launched an inquiry into the murder of the woman.&nbsp;

According to the police, they received a call on Wednesday (Nov. 13) asking about the well-being of Harshita, after which officers were sent to her home.

However, when the police did not get any answer, they launched an investigation for the missing person and later found the body of the victim inside the boot of a car on Brisbane Road in the Ilford area of London on Thursday (Nov.&nbsp;14).

The body's post-mortem was conducted at Leicester Royal Infirmary on Friday (Nov. 15).&nbsp;

"She was a young woman in her early 20s with her whole life ahead of her and it is absolutely tragic that her life has been cut short in this way. Detectives from EMSOU and Northamptonshire Police are working around the clock to establish the circumstances behind her death, including the exact location and timeframe in which it took place," he added.

<h2>Police launch manhunt for woman's husband</h2>

According to the investigators, Harshita was killed in a "targeted incident".&nbsp;

"Although we believe Harshita was attacked by someone known to her, we are keeping an open mind, and would appeal to anyone who knew her to contact us with any relevant information they may have," said Campbell.

"If you saw anything suspicious in the past week or have any information, no matter how small, please contact us. We would always rather receive well-meaning information that turns out to be nothing as opposed to not receiving it all," he added.

According to the police, Bell was murdered by her husband Pankaj Lamba in Northamptonshire.&nbsp;

“But it sounded angry and there were raised voices and the woman sounded scared. I heard a commotion between a man and a woman and I heard banging around. I didn’t call the police. I just thought it was a relationship argument. I feel so sad about the loss of the lass. I can’t get over it. I can’t believe it," she said.

In February, Ukrainian troops were already telling Reuters that the preponderance of Russian drones made it harder for them to move around freely and build fortifications.

Shelmuk’s company, Unwave, is one of some 30 firms manufacturing such systems, which block signals and use various means to disrupt computer systems inside drones.

Most anti-drone EW systems jam one, or at best a small handful of radio frequencies, meaning Russian drone pilots can sidestep jamming by hopping on to a new frequency.

EW makers thus monitor Russian drone-related online chats to understand which frequencies their drones will use.

As losses mount and exhaustion sets in, both sides in the war are trying to replace humans with machines.

Ukraine has struggled to replenish units depleted over time by fighting; Russia has reportedly turned to North Korea.

Seven officials and industry figures told Reuters automation would be the main focus of battlefield innovation in the coming year.

”The number of infantrymen deployed in trenches has decreased significantly, and combat command is possible to do online from a remote point, which reduces the risk of personnel being killed,” said Ostap Flyunt, an officer in the 67th mechanised brigade.

Ukraine now has more than 160 companies building unmanned ground vehicles, according to state-backed defence accelerator Brave1. They can be used to deliver supplies, evacuate wounded or carry remotely operated machine guns.

An army colonel, callsign Hephaestus, recently left the military to start building automated machine gun systems. He said six of his products were already substituting human gunners on the front, allowing them to operate the weapons on a screen far away from danger.

Arms minister Herman Smetanin also said remote warfare, including using artificial intelligence, was on the increase.

”In the near future, this will be the main direction of development, the war of robots,” he told Reuters. ”It’s about people’s lives, we need to protect them.”

Ukraine hopes an innovative defence sector will provide a new foundation for an economy devastated by the invasion.

The country has poured $1.5 billion into upgrading defence manufacturing which had stagnated since Soviet times, arms minister Smetanin said, although it still relies on Western allies for shells, missiles and air defences.

In the middle of some reports claiming that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is in a coma,&nbsp;his official account on X shared a picture of the leader holding a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, in his office.

Multiple media reports&nbsp;stated that the 85-year-old Khamenei was in a coma and his 55-year-old son Mojtaba Khamenei had been nominated as his successor after a meeting. In October, The New York Times reported that Khamenei was "seriously ill".

In the image shared on X, the leader was seen talking to Iran’s Ambassador Mojtaba Amani.&nbsp;

It should be noted that Amani suffered injuries in Beirut in the pager attacks carried out by Israel in September against the Hezbollah terror group.
