<p>In Ukraine's northeastern region of Sumy, on Sunday, a Russian missile strike on a multi-story residential building killed 10 people, including two children, and injured 52 others.</p>

<p>Calling attention to the attack, Zelensky in his X post said: "This evening, a Russian missile hit a nine-story residential building. There are confirmed fatalities, including children. Many people are wounded."</p>

<p>The president of the war-torn nation added that while emergency services are on the scene and are doing everything to save lives, "what is still missing—and desperately needed—is the principled reaction of the world to this evil."</p>

<p>He urged global leaders meeting at the G20 Summit to act decisively and said: "These days, leaders of the G20 are meeting. The entire world needs them not to turn a blind eye to Russia’s continued terror. Only when the world reacts decisively can the situation change. Russia has involved North Korea in its war—and the reaction has been weak."</p>

Harris stepped into the White House race after outgoing President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal on July 21.</p>

<p>Speaking to the news agency Reuters earlier this month,&nbsp;&nbsp;Emory University professor Andra Gillespie said that Harris faced a&nbsp;&nbsp;"gargantuan task", having only 100 days to put together a national campaign after stepping in as the Democratic nominee.</p>

<p>Gillespie&nbsp;pointed out that&nbsp;Harris&nbsp;was "unknown" compared to President-elect Donald Trump, and struggled to distance herself from the unpopular Biden administration.</p>

<h2><strong>A few things to know about Harris' campaign</strong></h2>

<p>Harris' campaign raised a whopping $1 billion for the White House race. She was&nbsp;fighting for a New Way Forward that would protect fundamental rights, strengthen democracy, and provide opportunities for every person to get ahead.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>So, where did the campaign money go?</strong></h2>

<p>With Democratic Party supporters still recovering from the election loss to Trump, a question is being asked where did the billion dollars raised by Harris' campaign go?</p>

<p>A report by The Times on Saturday (Nov&nbsp;16) said that of the total campaign money raised, $15 million was spent on&nbsp;slick celebrity endorsements, over $4 million on influencer marketing and what is estimated at hundreds of thousands of dollars to put Harris’s face on the Las Vegas Sphere.</p>

<p>However, in the end, the money was not enough.</p>

<p>The Times report said that despite the $1 billion pot,&nbsp;Harris and Tim Walz's campaign finished the race more than $20 million in debt, the team still sending chirpy texts from the campaign asking for more cash.</p>

<p>Recently, John Hopkins University said that the largest portion of the campaign money&nbsp;went on media — television, radio, billboards and newspaper advertising — totalling $690 million.</p>

<p>This included displaying her face across the Las Vegas Sphere, understood to cost $450,000 a day, and her ad being displayed intermittently from October 29 until election day.</p>

<h2><strong>Harris' campaign spent far more than that of Trump</strong></h2>

<p>The Times report also said that Harris' campaign spent far more money than that of Trump. According to the non-profit research group, OpenSecrets, president-elect Trump’s official campaign spent $345 million.</p>

<p>Shklyarov’s death was confirmed on Saturday by his dance company, the prestigious Mariinsky Theater. In a heartfelt statement, the theatre mourned the loss of one of the world’s finest ballet dancers. The theatre company said, "This is a huge loss not only for the theatre's staff but for all of today's ballet art. Our condolences to the artist's family, loved ones, friends and all the numerous admirers of his work and talent. His boundless creative abilities were recognized with numerous awards. He forever inscribed his name in the history of world ballet art."</p>

<p>The state-owned Iran Air and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) will face an asset freeze for their role in supplying weapons to Russia for use on the battlefield against Ukraine, Britain said.</p>

<p>"Iran’s attempts to undermine global security are dangerous and unacceptable," British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said. "We reiterate our call on Iran to cease its support for Russia's illegal war in Ukraine."</p>

<p>The sanctions will further restrict Iran Air's direct commercial air services to and from the UK.</p>

<p>Britain also sanctioned the Russian cargo ship PORT OLYA-3 for its role in transporting military supplies to Russia, it said.</p>
