US-Iran War: Iran Fires Fresh Missile Barrage At Israel After New Supreme Leader Chosen

The conflict between Iran and Israel escalated again after Tehran launched a new wave of missiles toward central Israel, triggering air-raid sirens in Tel Aviv and surrounding regions. Israeli air-defense systems were activated as authorities urged civilians to move into shelters while interceptors attempted to stop the incoming projectiles.
The barrage marks the first major missile attack since the appointment of Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, who succeeded his father Ali Khamenei during the ongoing regional war.
