Uganda has reached a controversial agreement with the United States to receive asylum seekers who are denied refuge in the U.S. but cannot return to their home countries. Kampala's Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the deal, stating that only individuals without criminal records or unaccompanied minors would be accepted.
