A historic financial shift is already underway—and it could reshape the global economy for decades.
It's called the Great Wealth Transfer, and experts estimate that around 124 trillion dollars will change hands from older generations to their children and grandchildren by 2048.
Most of this wealth is expected to move from Baby Boomers to Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z through inheritances, trusts and family assets.
The transition is set to influence everything from housing and investing to entrepreneurship and philanthropy. For younger generations, it could be one of the biggest financial opportunities of their lifetime.
