Fresh violence has erupted along the tense Pakistan-Afghanistan border after shelling reportedly struck residential areas in Asadabad, in Afghanistan’s Kunar province. At least one person has been killed and more than fifteen others, including women and children, have been injured in the cross-border mortar attack.
