Nigeria shocker: Gunmen kidnap 287 school children

Authorities say at least 100 of 287 school children kidnapped in Kuriga, Kaduna state are children aged 12 or younger. The Kaduna state attorney-general and commissioner of justice, has assured of government’s resolve to ensure swift prosecution of the abductors, despite no arrests being made. Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has also deployed forces for the rescue operation.
