Legislation on cryptocurrencies awaits cabinet approval in India

Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has informed that the proposed legislation on cryptocurrencies has been tabled before the cabinet and that it is awaiting approval. India has been on the fence on cryptocurrencies, gradually making up its mind to whether accept or reject the currencies.
