India-US trade deal nears finish line, says US envoy

The India-US bilateral trade agreement is nearing completion, according to US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor. Speaking at the USISPF Leadership Summit 2026, Gor announced that the US-India trade deal is in its final steps with only 1% left to negotiate after 18 months of talks. He also reaffirmed President Donald Trump's commitment to strengthening economic ties with India, calling the partnership a "win-win" for both nations.
