India rejects claims of involvement in Pakistan track-ii talks

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has clarified that the Indian government is not involved in or backing any Track-II dialogue with Pakistan involving retired officials or diplomats. He stated that New Delhi does not take cognisance of such informal discussions conducted in personal capacities abroad. The remarks come amid reports suggesting backchannel engagement between India and Pakistan
