Greenland’s Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen has said his people would choose Denmark over the United States if asked now, as Donald Trump renews calls for Washington to take control of the Arctic island. Speaking alongside Denmark’s Prime Minister, Nielsen rejected the idea of US annexation, while Copenhagen warned that any use of force would shatter the trans-Atlantic alliance.
