Cars and vans are responsible for around 15% of the European Union’s total greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, the EU has proposed a complete ban on selling new combustion engine cars in the bloc by 2035. However, just before the ban came into effect, Germany intervened at the last minute to save the future of internal combustion engines in the EU! Here’s a look at how it happened.
