Germany has reportedly blocked a major Eurofighter Typhoon sale to Turkiye, citing concerns over the arrest of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu. The UK, however, remains keen to proceed, viewing Turkiye as a key defense market. The Eurofighter project, a joint venture between Germany, the UK, Italy, and Spain, now faces diplomatic tension and delays.
