Water-logging was reported in various areas in the National Capital after the nonstop rains, which made things worse for commuters. As a result of severe rains and the discharge of water from the Hathnikund Barrage in the neighbouring state of Haryana, the River Yamuna's level surged, flooding parts of the city.
