<p>North Korea is seeing a strange uptick in the number of citizens suffering from hair loss, according to reports on Monday (Nov 27) citing South Korean experts. Speaking to Radio Free Asia (RFA), experts said how the phenomenon appeared to derive from multiple sources, including infections that caused hair loss as an after-effect and use of soap and laundry detergent.</p>

<p>Speaking to RFA, Dr Choi Jeong Hoon from the Public Policy Research Institute at Seoul's Korea University, said that it is "not easy" for North Koreans to find "mild" chemical products.</p>

<p>Dr Hoon, who was earlier in North Korea and fled to the south, said that ordinary North Korean citizens cannot afford to worry about hair loss and the cost of treatment is expensive.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Another expert said that the military caps might also damage hair due to lack of proper ventilation, which leads to bacterial buildup and clogged pores that can result in thinning hair, Fox News reported.</p>

<p>Ahn Kyung Soo, who runs a blog on health news in North Korea, said that many treatments are more akin to oriental medicines. The report by Fox News also said that hair loss is not just a problem in North Korea, but also South Korea.</p>

UK museum rebrands Roman emperor as transgender person with he/him pronouns

<p>After spending more than a year in "prison", a total of nine goats were released on Friday (Nov 24), in Barisal, a city on the banks of the Kirtankhola river in south-central Bangladesh, Dhaka Tribune reported.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The report added that the goats were apparently sent to prison for eating grass and leaves of trees in a graveyard in Barishal city.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Newly elected Barishal City Corporation (BCC) Mayor Abul Khair Abdullah (Khokon Serniabat) directed the release of the goats.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last year on December 6, the animals were detained and held for approximately one year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As per the report, the then BCC administrative official Swapon Kumar Das confirmed the development to the media outlet.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Now, the restoration process involved the removal of an aging layer of varnish, exposing the fact that Cecil's lips were overpainted to give the illusion of fullness, and her hair was reworked to create a smaller forehead.</p>

<p>The choice to modify these features, as English Heritage noted, is intriguing. It is because the changes done in the painting seem to be going beyond just repairing the damages caused by rolling it widthways.</p>

It is the portrait's date which was revealed as 1634, along with the signature of the original artist, Cornelius Johnson. Something similar happened to a group of Californians who were returning after watching the recent Formula 1 race in Las Vegas.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Shelby&nbsp;Easler, alongside her brother and their significant others, was heading back home&nbsp;after watching Max Verstappen take the podium in the penultimate race of the season on Sunday (Nov 19).</p>

<p>However, instead of taking Interstate 15,&nbsp;the major highway connecting Southern California to Sin City, they took Google Maps' advice which suggested they take an alternate route, so as to avoid running into a dust storm that was causing major traffic jams ahead.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“We ironically thought it would be a safer option, and it did say it would be 50 minutes faster. It was our first time driving to/from Vegas, so we didn't know that you can really only take the I-15 back and forth," she added.</p>

<p>“The first driver that turned around talked to us to tell us that the road gets washed out the higher into the mountain you get, and we have to turn around since the path leads nowhere.&nbsp;He was in a huge truck and was just driving straight through the bushes and shrubs to let people know to turn around,” Easler said.</p>

<p>Upon realising they were lost, the group&nbsp;dialled 911 but were told that the officials were bust with the dust storm on I-15. Eventually, they called the tow truck company which arrived on the spot and assisted Easler's car as well as others who were stuck there.</p>

<p>“The tow truck came around 5 pm, so we were pretty much stuck there the entire afternoon,” Easler said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The off-roading had taken a toll on the car and the group had to leave it in Las Vegas. According to Easler, the&nbsp;rear&nbsp;and right tire were on the verge of coming off. In the end, the detour proved to be quite an expensive affair for the group which had already spent a considerable sum of money in attending the Grand Prix.&nbsp;</p>

<p>If you ever encounter a cassowary, it's important to be cautious, especially around their nests. Experts advise slowly backing away, using a barrier if possible. Jumping into the sea isn't a safe escape either, as cassowaries can swim, as mentioned by the Queensland Department of Environment and Science.</p>
