<p>The police arrested 50-year-old Atsushi Ozawa on Sunday (Dec 3) after identifying him through surveillance camera footage of the November incident, Asahi Shimbun reported.</p>

<p>Police said that an arrest was necessitated because the driver’s actions were “highly malicious” given the professional nature of his job, the Fuji TV network reported.</p>

<p>"It's a gentle way to stop and relax," explains Fiona Wilson, head farmer at Dumble Farm.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Dumble Farm, as per The Telegraph, is one of many farms in Britain that have become the victim of market forces.&nbsp;Just three decades ago, Britain had around 30,000 dairy farms. Today the number is less than 10,000.</p>

<p>"We didn’t have much hope for the future when we were milking and we’d become quite miserable in the last couple of years," said Wilson, as quoted by the Telegraph.</p>

<p>In January 2022, the farmers decided to sell their dairy herd and diversify.</p>

<p>However, they could not rid of all the cows and kept some out of emotional attachment.&nbsp;They then decided to embrace cow cuddling, which had become something of a phenomenon globally.</p>

<p>"We started practising with the cows about a year ago and began inviting customers in during the spring," explained Wilson.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It took a few months for the cows to get used to it, and get into the right routine so they were all sitting down at the right time," she said.</p>

<p>At Dumble farms, visitors get to spend 45 minutes sitting beside the retired dairy cows. They spend the time stroking and grooming the large, docile creatures.</p>

60th time’s the charm: Learner driver in UK takes record-breaking number of attempts to pass theory test

<p>The researchers, in a major discovery, found a massive underwater mountain, also known as a seamount, on the Pacific Ocean's floor off the coast of Guatemala.<br />

The seamount is likely to be a remnant of an extinct volcano, similar to other seamounts, as per the NOAA Ocean Exploration, which is a federal programme and part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.<br />
<br />
The seamount found is 1,600 metres (5,249 feet) tall, which is nearly twice the height of Burj Khalifa in Dubai – the world's tallest building, as per the press release issued by nonprofit organisation Schmidt Ocean Institute which carried out advanced oceanographic research.</p>

<p>The discovery of the massive mountain, which covers 14 square kilometres (5.4 square miles) and is located 2,400 metres (7,874 feet) below sea level, took place in July during an SOI expedition, which is part of the efforts of the institute to further explore the ocean with the use of a research vessel known as Falkor (too).<br />

The ship has been designed for mapping the seafloor with the use of a multibeam echosounder that sends out sound waves to the ocean floor in a fan-shaped pattern and then measures the time which is taken by the sound to touch the ocean floor and return.<br />

The seamount found is 1,600 metres (5,249 feet) tall, which is nearly twice the height of Burj Khalifa in Dubai – the world's tallest building, as per the press release issued by nonprofit organisation Schmidt Ocean Institute which carried out advanced oceanographic research. Also read: Unique 'Lost City' deep in the ocean is a marvel, but it now faces mining threats The discovery of the massive mountain, which covers 14 square kilometres (5.4 square miles) and is located 2,400 metres (7,874 feet) below sea level, took place in July during an SOI expedition, which is part of the efforts of the institute to further explore the ocean with the use of a research vessel known as Falkor (too). The ship has been designed for mapping the seafloor with the use of a multibeam echosounder that sends out sound waves to the ocean floor in a fan-shaped pattern and then measures the time which is taken by the sound to touch the ocean floor and return. Hydrographer and marine technician with the Schmidt Ocean Institute Tomer Ketter, who was also present on board, said that the seamount was not in any database that measures ocean depths, including the General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans. More than 100,000 seamounts still undiscovered In a press release, the executive director of Schmidt Ocean Institute Dr Jyotika Virmani said, “A seamount over 1.5 kilometres tall which has, until now, been hidden under the waves really highlights how much we have yet to discover.” “A complete seafloor map is a fundamental element of understanding our Ocean so it’s exciting to be living in an era where technology allows us to map and see these amazing parts of our planet for the first time,” she added. <p>Santos was expelled from US House of Representatives in a vote that saw more than 100 of his colleagues in the Republican Party voting in favour of ousting him.</p>

<p>Santos is a Trump loyalist, who is supporting the former president amidst allegations that he illegally paid off a porn star to hide his alleged affair before the 2016&nbsp;elections. Santos recently wrote on Twitter that “the weaponized justice system is going after conservatives with political bias.”</p>

<p>Santos was&nbsp;a Republican representative for New York's 3rd congressional district. He was elected to Congress in 2022. His Congressional election campaign soon fell prey to an investigative report by the New York Times which revealed Santos misrepresented various aspects of his career.</p>

<h2><strong>Myriad controversies surrounding George Santos&nbsp;</strong></h2>

<p>Following the big revelation by NY Times, Santos acknowledged "embellishing" his resume, but new information about his background kept coming to light. Santos misrepresented his employment at Goldman Sachs to a Seattle judge in 2017 during a bail hearing for a "family friend," but he has since confessed he never had a direct employment relationship with the investment company.</p>

<p>He was also questioned by the US&nbsp;Secret Service in 2017 as part of an investigation into international credit card fraud. Although, his link to the case is still unknown and he was not named a suspect in the investigation.</p>

<p>Federal and state investigators are looking into his finances, including how his 2022 congressional campaign was funded, how long he worked for a company that allegedly ran a Ponzi scam, and how he allegedly helped a pet charity pretend to raise money for a dying veteran's dog. Santos has refuted any misconduct in all of these cases.</p>

<p>Concerns about Santos' campaign expenditures have also been filed with the Federal Election Commission.</p>

<p>The report, which was published this month, states the sightings have become such a recurrent feature lately that it is becoming difficult to determine whether the unidentified flying object (UFO), officially referred to as an unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAP), poses any threat to&nbsp;humans.</p>

<p>The report was based on the findings of the USSF’s STARCOM, or Space Force's Space Training and Readiness Command, which has claimed to have found many UFO sightings in Earth’s orbit in the past month.</p>

<p>As part of the Capital Kiwi Project, in November 2022, 11 kiwis were released in Makara, a vast hilly farmland west of Wellington. Subsequent releases brought the total to 52 birds, with plans for an additional 200 over the next five years.</p>

<p>A Connecticut woman filed a complaint against the fast-casual salad chain Chopt on Monday (Nov 27) after she allegedly chewed a severed human finger while eating her salad.</p>

<p>The woman, Allison Cozzi, had purchased a salad from the chain’s Mount Kisco store in New York in April this year. According to the suit, she found a piece of the manager’s finger in the food.</p>

<p>She realised that&nbsp;“she was chewing on a portion of a human finger that had been mixed into and made a part of, the salad,” the suit read.</p>

<p>The manager allegedly cut off her left pointer finger while using a knife to cut arugula, the lawsuit alleged.</p>

<p>While the manager rushed to a local hospital to receive the treatment, the contaminated arugula was mixed into salad which was served to several customers, including Cozzi, as per the lawsuit.&nbsp;</p>
