Delhi NCR Weather Update: Several areas of Delhi and Noida witnessed heavy rainfall in the early hours of Tuesday. It resulted in traffic congestion due to waterlogging at several places.
Visuals shared on X (formerly Twitter), show several areas of Delhi, like Patel Chowk, Ashram, and New Delhi Railway Station, heavily waterlogged, leading to slow traffic movement.
Due to extreme waterlogging in several locations, Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for people on traffic diversions:

Check Traffic Diversion:

The traffic is affected on the Rohtak Road in the carriageway from Nangloi towards Tikri Border. Additionally, a cluster bus also broke down near Pillar No 510. It is advised to avoid Mundka and take an alternative route.

Alternate routes were opened for the diversions implemented in Connaught Place, Rohtak Road, Geeta Colony, Minto Road, and A Point (ITO Chowk).

Traffic heading to Minto Road from Connaught Place can be diverted on Outer Circle Connaught Place. Traffic coming from Connaught Place to Barakhamba Road can be diverted on Turkman Gate/Kamla Market via Ranjeet Singh Flyover.

People commuting through W-Point/Tilak Marg to IP Marg will be diverted towards Bahadurshah Zatar Marg (BSZ Marg).

Traffic from R/A Kamla Market to Minto Road can be diverted to DDU Marg towards Connaught Place via Ranjeet Singh Flyover.

Traffic coming from DDU Marg and Delhi Gate (BSZ Marg) to IP Marg will be diverted to Bahadurshah Zafar Marg (BSZ Marg).

People from Bahadurgarh commuting towards Peeragarhi are advised to take the Jharoda-Najafgarh route or through UER-II and Najafgarh-Nangloi Road to reach their location in Peeragarhi.

Commuters from Peeragarhi are advised to take Outer Ring Road-District Centre Janakpuri-Najafgarh to reach Bahadurgarh or Tikri Border.

Commuters should use the Rajghat Side to reach ISBT Kashmiri Gate.

People commuting from Trans Yamuna and Rajghat Depot(there is a barricading at the loop coming towards Outer Ring Road on Raja Ram Kohli Marg).
IMD Forecast and Warning
The India Meteorological Department predicted widespread moderate-to-light rainfall for the entire Delhi and southwest NCR, especially on Tuesday.
IMD also warned of moderate-to-intense rainfall in several parts of East and Central Delhi in the early morning hours.
