A Polymarket spokesperson speculated that the raid might have been politically motivated, calling it “obvious political retribution by the outgoing administration against Polymarket for providing a market that correctly called the 2024 presidential election” aimed at Polymarket for predicting the 2024 election results.

“Polymarket is a fully transparent prediction market that helps everyday people better understand the events that matter most to them, including elections,” they told Axios.

Miller was a White House senior adviser for policy during Trump's 2017-2021 presidency and the driving force behind the Republican's wide-ranging immigration crackdown. Policies included the construction of a wall on the US - Mexico border, banning people from certain Muslim-majority nations and elsewhere, and a contentious 2018 border policy that separated thousands of migrant families.

Trump, who takes office in January, said in a social media post that the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from his first administration would be in charge of the country's borders in his new administration starting Jan&nbsp;20.

However, over the last few&nbsp;years he has softened some of his stances to align more closely with Trump's views. The president-elect accuses past US presidents of leading America into costly and futile wars and has pushed for a more restrained foreign policy.

The new administration will confront a world more volatile and dangerous than it was when Trump took office in 2017, with wars raging in Ukraine and the Middle East and China aligning itself more closely with US foes Russia and Iran.

At another sexual and vaginal health firm, Winx Health, a startup, the sales of its morning-after pill Restart were up 315 per cent on the day after the election compared with the 24 hours before the US polls.&nbsp;

“Things skyrocketed immediately,” said Cynthia Plotch, co-founder of Winx Health.

After the United States President-elect&nbsp;Donald Trump appointed&nbsp;Tom Homan as the 'border czar', the latter shared that he has been receiving death threats, adding that this is something "we are going to deal with".&nbsp;

In an interview on Fox and Friends, Homan said his family is "not at home right now" because they have received death threats.&nbsp;

"They are not going to bully me away," he said.&nbsp;

Homan noted that his task is to deliver on Trump's promise to enact the "largest deportation operation in history". To begin that, he said he would target those that "a federal judge said you must go and they didn't".

"You have the right to claim asylum. You have a right to see a judge. We make that happen,"&nbsp;he said, adding, "If the judge says you must go home, then we have to take them home."

Homan appeared on Fox News this morning, and said, "I've seen some of these Democratic governors say they're going to stand in the way and make it hard for us."&nbsp;

"We're going to do the job," he added.
