“SAVE UKRAINE”&nbsp;was written on the front whilst he carried a 'Rainbow' flag to show support for the LGBTQ community. Italian press agency AGI identified the invader as&nbsp;Mario Ferri of Italian nationality.&nbsp;

After running halfway across the pitch,&nbsp;Ferri was tackled into the ground by two security guards and ushered through a tunnel. The referee picked up the rainbow flag and placed it on the sideline.&nbsp;

It was not immediately clear if the protester was detained or charged by the Qatari authorities after his defying act.&nbsp;

This is not Ferri's first rendezvous, according to media reports. He had staged a similar protest during the 2014 World Cup held in Brazil where he raised the issue of children living in poverty.&nbsp;

At one time, seven European teams were prepared to defy the orders and wear the armbands. However, after FIFA threatened suspension, the players backed out.&nbsp;

Former Uruguayan President Tabare Vazquez died Sunday at the age of 80 from lung cancer, his family announced.

"With deep pain we communicate the death of our beloved father," his sons Alvaro, Javier and Ignacio Vazquez said in a statement.

The statement added that Vazquez died at 3 am local time "due to natural causes of his oncological disease."

On Twitter, Alvaro Vazquez, who like his father is an oncologist by profession, said that "while he was resting at home, accompanied by some family and friends, Tabare died because of his illness."

In 1989, Tabare Vazquez became the first person from the left-wing Broad Front coalition to win the mayoralty of &nbsp;Montevideo, having previously become well known as president of football club Progreso, which is based in the capital.

In 2005, following two failed attempts, he secured the presidency, breaking the traditional hegemony of the Colorado and National parties in the small South American nation.

He held the office until 2010 and again from 2015 until March this year, when he handed the presidential sash to Luis Lacalle Pou of the National Party, who had beaten Broad Front candidate Daniel Martinez in an election run-off.

On Twitter, Broad Front reported "with deep pain" the death of its "honorary president, Tabare Vazquez."

"His example of political integrity and unwavering commitment to our country and the people will drive us to continue his legacy," it said.

In a statement, Vazquez's relatives indicated that, due to coronavirus-related restrictions, they had decided to "not hold a wake."

"His children and grandchildren will see him off in a private and intimate ceremony," they said.

WION: How is the Indian&nbsp;Mission helping in getting citizens back?

Dinesh Bhatia: Argentina was the farthest country from India, there is a large enough community of Indians here, about a couple of thousand Indians in Argentina.

In addition, our embassy also looks after Paraguay and Uruguay and we had stranded Indians there also, the numbers are not very large, the issue is distance is very large, going from Argentina to Delhi and of course Paraguay and Uruguay.

We have to work with stranded Indians in all the 3 countries and we have worked with and managed to send them back. We have a small number but a long stance and I hope they will reach safely.

There are two&nbsp;stops, the flight goes via Sydney and Bangkok and the journey is more than 30 hours and thanks to the leadership of our EAM Jaishanker and FS Harsh Shringla and the entire ministry who has supported us in organising flight back to India.

WION: How many Indian have registered from repatriation from all the 3 countries?

Dinesh Bhatia: We had our registration only from Argentina for more than 60 people who wanted to go back and another 20 people from Uruguay. From Uruguay, they have not been able to get out because all of them work for one particular company called TCS &nbsp;and they decided not to go in this flight, but from Argentina when we circulated to all the 60 people who had registered and also to the larger community and we have 24 Indians going in this flight and one of them dropped out from this flight, unfortunately.

Twenty-four&nbsp;Indians are going back and surprisingly and interestingly Argentiain envoy to India, he was also in Argentina for the last two&nbsp;months, he was here for a family visit. He got stuck because of quarantine and lockdown in Argentina and India, he is also in this flight. He is going back to his workplace.

Dinesh Bhatia: Fortunately for us, no Indian has been infected in the 3 countries we deal with. Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay are to submit a joint bid to host the 2030 World Cup, Chile's President Sebastian Pinera announced on Thursday.

Pinera said he had been touting his idea to the presidents of Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay for several months.
