“There isn’t a universe (where) his intention was to kill Trump,” Robinson wrote. “He’s worked too hard in this movement to expose the Deep State and all the people against him.”

Robinson described Miller as a “good guy with a gun”.

“I firmly believe this is 100% some kind of set-up in retribution for exposing it,” Robinson wrote on her social media handle.

Miller has been booked for possessing&nbsp;a loaded firearm and high-capacity magazine, as per authorities. He was released on a $5,000 bail on Saturday and will appear at the Indio Larson Justice Center on Jan. 2, 2025, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. "The City of Henderson has issued a compliance letter and verbal warning to the event organizer that the event as planned would be in direct violation of the governor's COVID-19 emergency directives," city spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said in a statement.

The pandemic has stripped the US presidential campaign of its usual flood of events, but with less than two months to voting Trump and Democratic rival Joe Biden have been making more appearances.

'TikTok grandma' who played major role in sabotaging Trump's rally joins Biden's campaign

The White House said Thursday President Donald Trump will travel to New Jersey this weekend as planned even though it is one of three states recommending that people who have been to coronavirus hot spots self-quarantine for two weeks.

"The president of the United States is not a civilian," spokesman Judd Deere said when asked about the specific case of Trump having traveled Tuesday to Arizona, where new cases of the virus are up sharply.

"With regard to Arizona, the White House followed its COVID mitigation plan to ensure the president did not come into contact with anyone who was symptomatic or had not been tested," Deere said.

"Anyone traveling in support of the President this weekend will be closely monitored for symptoms and tested for COVID and therefore pose little to no risk to the local populations," Deere added.
