<p> </p><p>“I do my work with honesty and modesty. I have some legal matters to pay for, and these are not from today—they are from before the brain stroke happened,” Rahul wrote.</p><p> </p><p>The actor revealed that he is dealing with legal matters that require significant expenses.</p><p>The actor continued, “If you mock my simplicity or make fun of my struggles, it says less about me and more about you. If you are truly so concerned, then help me find some genuine and decent work so I can pay for these cases. At least I am earning through hard work, not by mocking others.”</p><p> </p><p>The actor also stated that he has intended to stay active after he suffered a brain stroke.</p><p>“And after the brain stroke, it is important for me to stay active. I want to work for as long as I am alive. It keeps my mind active and gives me the sense of purpose and responsibility that I am still working today. Yes, it may hurt a little sometimes, but you cannot break me,” Rahul wrote as he concluded the note.</p>

The actor became an overnight sensation with his debut film Aashiqui, which was helmed by Mahesh Bhatt and also starred Anu Aggarwal. <p>Rahul was shooting for ‘<strong>LAC - Live The Battle’,</strong> which is directed by Nitin Kumar Gupta and produced by Chitra Vakil Sharma and Nivedita Basu. He had to be airlifted to Mumbai after the brain stroke.</p>

<p>Speaking about the ordeal, producer Nivedita Basu told Mumbai Mirror,“Rahul has been a close friend of the director and he was the first one on the project. Kargil had extreme weather conditions and they had gone up to -12°C and -13°C, so it was just a matter of time when someone would have succumbed to the cold, and I think that’s exactly what happened with Rahul. His one day of the shoot was still left but when we got to know about him, we told Nitin that we need to get him out.”</p>
