Pakistan launched a series of strikes on militants in Iran's Sistan and Baluchistan provinces, calling it retaliatory action which raised the tensions between the neighbouring nations. Islamabad said it hit bases of the separatist Baloch Liberation Front and Baloch Liberation Army.
