<p>Pakistan Election Results 2024: Victory was declared on Friday (Feb 9) for the former Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif from his NA-130 constituency in Lahore. But ousted former prime minister Imran Khan's Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)&nbsp;claimed that "the number of total valid votes is greater than total number of votes cast" in the NA-130 constituency in Lahore.</p>

<p>The PTI posted a paper on social media which appears to show a document from the Returning Officer at National Assembly-130 constituency (Lahore XIV). According to the document, while the total number of votes cast is 293,693, the total number of valid votes are higher.</p>

<p>As of 4:45PM (local time), of the 149 National Assembly results announced, the Independent candidates are leading on&nbsp;61 seats, followed by PML(N) on 43 seats,&nbsp;PPP on&nbsp;38,&nbsp;MQM on 4. While JUIP, BNP and PMLQ were leading on&nbsp;1 seat each.&nbsp;Results of 116 seats are awaited.</p>

<p>Among the heavyweights, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz won her first-ever National Assembly seat with 83,855 votes.&nbsp;</p>

The two parties have agreed in principle to save the country from political instability.

<p>Meanwhile, a Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) post on X clarified that they will not hold any talks with PML-N, PPP and MQM.</p>

<p>The PML-N president, who succeeded Imran Khan in Islamabad's prime minister's office after the PTI founder's ouster, said that his party will invite everyone to form a coalition government in the Centre.</p>

<p>"We have to move forward together in the country's larger interest."</p>

<p>Earlier, sources told WION that Nawaz Sharif's party has offered the prime ministerial designation to the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) with the caveat that PML(N) will take some key ministries.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Key ministries are not defined yet.</p>

<p>Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari's party has instead offered the PML(N) unconditional support with an option to stay out of the government and support from the outside.</p>

<h2><strong>How new government is formed in Pakistan?</strong></h2>

<p>Pakistan’s National Assembly has 336 seats, out of which 266 are decided by direct voting and 70 are reserved.&nbsp;</p>

<p>To form the government on its own, a party needs to win at least 134 seats through the ballot.</p>
