The average ideal distribution of time across a 24-hour period, taking into account all factors, were as follows:

	<li>Sleeping: Eight hours and 20 minutes</li>

Current health guidelines typically focus on recommending a certain amount of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity per week.

However, emerging evidence suggests that how we spend our entire day, including time spent sitting, standing, and engaging in light activity, can significantly impact our health.

Therefore, upcoming health guidelines may need to incorporate recommendations for 24-hour movement patterns.

The ruling was handed down by the Supreme Court in Moscow on Thursday (Nov 30), as reported by AFP. 
 
It did not clarify if certain organisations or individuals will be affected by the ruling. 
 
The judge ruled that "the international LGBT public movement and its subdivisions" were extremist, and issued a "ban on its activities on the territory of Russia”. 
 
He added that the order was placed into effect immediately.

"One day it will be over but for now we need to try to continue to live and save ourselves," said the Feminist Anti-War Resistance on social media, while responding to the verdict.

Other NGOs, which include transgender rights group "Center T", said that they will publish the safety guidelines for the LGBTQ community's members.

Janneke Parrish, an Apple program manager and one of the leaders behind the #AppleToo movement, said she was terminated for “non-compliance” after she deleted personal files from her work device amid an internal investigation, according to the Guardian.

Parrish, who worked at Apple for five years, claims that she was fired for speaking out publicly about "issues within the company".

“I’ve been very vocal, I’ve been very public. I have not been afraid to put my name and attach my face to #AppleToo,” she told the Guardian. “This feels very much like retaliation for having the courage to speak out.”

Sanders plants seeds for a lasting progressive movement

India has sent a letter of request (LoR) to the US seeking to purchase patrol drones for protection and vigilance of its maritime assets in the Indian Ocean, sources said. 
 
The letter of request (LoR) sent by New Delhi last week comes less than a fortnight after India was inducted into Missile Technology 
 
Control Regime (MTCR) and recognised by the US as a &quot;major defence partner&quot; after the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Barack Obama, earlier this month. 
 
This is part of the Modi Government&#39;s effort to fast track its goal to secure the country&#39;s maritime assets, particularly in the Indian Ocean and, detect any untoward intrusion like the Mumbai terrorist attack. 
 
The letter seeks purchase of state-of-the-art multi-mission maritime patrol Predator Guardian UAV&#39;s (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) from General Atomics, they said. 
 
It provides high-altitude wide area and has long endurance maritime ISR capability, which will help India to safeguard its maritime assets in the Indian Ocean, both east and west coast. 
 
Flying at an altitude of 50,000 feet these drones have the capacity to fly non-stop for more than 24 hours and monitor the movement of objects as small as a football, sources said. 
 
India had previously shown interest in purchasing these drones from the US, but the Obama administration was unable to process these request as India was not a member of MTCR. 
 
After India got the MTCR membership earlier this month, the US has started looking into the proposal and is believed to be moving ahead with the next phase of letter of acceptance.

The issue of drones was discussed by the Prime Minister with President Obama who gave a favourable response.
