Pakistan has beaten India only once across both World Cup formats (ODI and T20I): during the 2021 T20 WC clash in Dubai. Sachin Tendulkar was a genius batter who scored more Test runs than any other player in the history and now England's Joe Root is sneaking up on him. Pakistan Cricket: Former player Mohammad Yousuf quits as selector 'for personal reasons'

Row in Pakistan Cricket continues to make headlines. Per the latest reports, the senior campaigner and ace pacer Shaheen Afridi has landed in trouble for misbehaving with the batting coach Mohammad Yousuf. The incident is said to have happened during one of the training sessions during the England T20Is ahead of the marquee event in the Americas. The local media is anticipating disciplinary action against Shaheen for his behaviour.

The incident happened when Yousuf questioned Shaheen over bowling regular no-balls (during a spell in the nets), to which Shaheen rudely replied, "Let me do what I am doing, and you mind your own business."

A source close to the information also informed Geo News in Pakistan that the matter was "nothing more than&nbsp;a routine case of the heat of the moment", and thus got shut down there only, without anyone complaining to the PCB.

The report also suggested that Shaheen apologised to Yousuf for his misconduct.&nbsp;

However, in the report submitted to the PCB chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, there is an outright mention of this incident, with the source claiming the ball is in the chairman’s court, who will take any action against the world-class seamer.&nbsp;&nbsp;

“We have to mention all that had happened during the World Cup campaign. It is up to the PCB chairman to decide on the matter,” an official said, as quoted by The Indian Express.&nbsp;

With Pakistan hosting Bangladesh for two Tests in August, the reports suggest Shaheen might miss the series. Although another unnamed official backed Afridi to make it to the playing XI, he agrees that Shaheen must face some heat for the PCB to set a precedent. Per the source, the board might take an alternative action against him.

"I would rather suggest revoking Shaheen’s NOC for foreign leagues. His demotion from A category contract is also an option available to the PCB."

"However, the chairman has the final authority to decide on the matter. He has the power to even pardon the fast bowler,” the source claimed.&nbsp;

<h2>Pakistan’s packed home schedule</h2>

Following the Bangladesh Tests that begin on August 21 in Rawalpindi, England and West Indies will also tour Pakistan for the Test series during the upcoming season.

Although Pakistan will travel to South Africa for an all-format series later this year, they will host a tri-series, including South Africa and New Zealand, just ahead of the home Champions Trophy 2025 in February and March.&nbsp;

Shaheen Afridi misbehaved with batting coach ahead of T20 WC, reports suggest this was in 'heat of the moment'

Former Pakistan batter Mohammed Yousuf has made a big claim. Yousuf revealed that Babar Azam cried after Pakistan's shocking eight-wicket loss to Afghanistan in match 22 of the ODI World Cup in India on Monday (Oct&nbsp;23). Under Babar, Pakistan are now on the brink of an early exit with three back-to-back big defeats in five games.&nbsp;

<h2>'It's not only Babar's fault, the entire team and management is involved'</h2>

Yousuf claimed while talking on a Pakistani TV show, "I heard Babar Azam cried after the defeat against Afghanistan last night. It's not only Babar's fault, the entire team and management is involved. We are with Babar Azam in this tough time and the entire nation is with him."

Opting to bat first, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Babar &amp; Co. posted 282 for 7 riding on the captain's 74 and Abdullah Shafique's 58. In reply, Afghanistan chased down the total in 49 overs with Rahmanullah Gurbaz (65), Ibrahim Zadran (87), Rahmat Shah (77*) and skipper Hashmatullah Shahid (48*) starring with the bat.

After this loss, Pakistan remain at the fifth spot but have a herculean task to qualify for the semi-finals. They need to win all their remaining games, improve their Net Run Rate (NRR) significantly and might also have to depend on&nbsp;other results to go their way.&nbsp;

After the match, Babar said at the post-match presentation, "This hurts us. We had a good total. In the bowling, we aren't up to the mark because we are not taking wickets in the middle&nbsp;overs. In the World Cup, if you are not good in even one department, then you'll lose the match. In the field, we didn't stop boundaries and gave away runs, that cost us. Bowling - we started well, in the middle overs, we needed wickets but we couldn't take any wickets. All credit to Afghanistan the way they played in all three departments. That's why they won. We are not playing good cricket in bowling and fielding."

It will be interesting to see how Babar responds and leads Pakistan in their remaining games with a lot of questions being raised&nbsp;on his leadership.

'Heard Babar Azam cried...': Mohammad Yousuf's BIG claim after Pakistan's ODI World Cup loss to Afghanistan

Virat Kohli continues to be the centre of attention in world cricket. The former Indian captain has not been in action for Team India since the end of the England tour as he has been rested and is&nbsp;not part of Men in Blue's white-ball assignments in the West Indies.&nbsp;

Nonetheless, his form remains a cause of concern and a topic of discussion among the cricketing fraternity. In the England tour, the 33-year-old Kohli failed to touch the 50-run mark across formats whereas his international century-drought continues since late 2019, in the pre-Covid era. Even in&nbsp;IPL 2022, the veteran batter remained below-par, striking at 115.98 to manage only 341 runs -- with two half-centuries. His last IPL ton also came in the 2019 edition.

Thus, Kohli's form continues to draw attention and many former cricketers and experts have opined on his dry run. Pakistan's former batsman Mohammad Yousuf also joined in and stated that this is just 'part&nbsp;of the game'. Further, he lavished huge praise on Kohli, calling him 'best modern-day player in last 10 years'.

"This is a part of the game where a player goes out of form. It has been a lengthier patch for him. But what he has contributed so far, after Sachin Tendulkar, is the player to make that kind of a contribution. He has scored 71 centuries, within a span off 11 years, especially in white-ball cricket. In Tests, he could not do as much as he did in white-ball cricket. However, he has scored 27 Test tons as well. For me, this is a part of the game. Maybe it has to do with the way he has been treated that he has gone under pressure. He would know better," Yousuf said during a chat with Pakistan channel ARY News.

It is expected that Kohli will join Team India for the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 edition, in the UAE, and will be part of every series for Rohit Sharma &amp; Co. in the run-up to this year's T20 World Cup, to be held in Australia from October-November.

Even in IPL 2022, the veteran batter remained below-par, striking at 115.98 to manage only 341 runs -- with two half-centuries. His last IPL ton also came in the 2019 edition. Thus, Kohli's form continues to draw attention and many former cricketers and experts have opined on his dry run. Pakistan's former batsman Mohammad Yousuf also joined in and stated that this is just 'part of the game'. Further, he lavished huge praise on Kohli, calling him 'best modern-day player in last 10 years'. It is expected that Kohli will join Team India for the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 edition, in the UAE, and will be part of every series for Rohit Sharma & Co. in the run-up to this year's T20 World Cup, to be held in Australia from October-November.

"I will reveal the names in the coming days," he asserted. Kaneria told WION that he would present a clear picture about the alleged discrimination and would be releasing a video through his YouTube channel.

Akhtar speaking to a local channel had said that Pakistan team members allegedly were even reluctant to eat with Kaneria.

"I tell God all the time that I went against the odds and played for the Pakistan team," Kaneria said, adding, "I am a proud Hindu and I am proud of my dharma."

"Mohammad Yousuf and Yunus Khan both supported me. Shoaib Akhtar they all have supported me," the former leg spinner told WION. Akhtar had told the television channel that the Pakistan spinner was never given due credit for his performances and that he was constantly humiliated by his teammates.

Kaneria played in 61 Test matches for the country but was later banned by the ICC for his alleged role in spot-fixing.

Danish Kaneria is fourth on the list of bowlers with most Test wickets for Pakistan behind other fast bowling legends Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Imran Khan, the current prime minister of the country.

"In 1999 we had such a big team with so many big names that if we had pressurized the board to give permission to have our wives and children stay with us in team hotel they would have done so.&nbsp;

Yousuf, who played 90 Tests and 288 one-day internationals, recalled that the board didn't even give permission to players in one-day series or tournaments to have their families stay with them in those days.
