Chancellor Sholz while welcoming the Indian prime minister informed that over 7,000 Indian students are studying in German universities.&nbsp;

The Chancellor appealed to President Putin to end the Ukraine war. "We all agree that the border should not be exchanged. We must ensure a better future by not putting wars against each other," he said.

PM Modi will be visiting Germany, Denmark and France May 2 onwards.&nbsp;

Germany is one of the economic powerhouses in Europe. PM Modi will attend sixth India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations. He will also meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. This will be first meet of the two leaders after Olaf Scholz became German Chancellor.

The ongoing conflict in Ukraine is sure to be mentioned as the leaders'&nbsp;meet.

Dr&nbsp;Tobias Lindner, Minister of State in Germany's Federal Foreign Office concurred as spoke with WION's Principle Diplomatic Correspondent Sidhant Sibbal.

"For sure you cannot meet these days without talking about Ukraine because it has impact on international rules-based order and we believe it is in the interest of all countries in the planet to uphold territorial integrity and sovereignty. For sure will have exchange with Indian colleagues on that and we more pull than push India on that term. Also trying to talk about possible implications of that war in other regions of the world," he said.

Prime Minister Modi will be spending one night each in Germany and Denmark while two nights in flight.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is on a two-day visit in India. He arrived in the country on April 21.

"The world faces growing threats from autocratic states which seek to undermine democracy, choke off free and fair trade and trample on sovereignty. The UK's partnership with India is a beacon in these stormy seas," Johnson was quoted as saying by the high commission.

"Our collaboration on the issues that matter to both our countries, from climate change to energy security and defence, is of vital importance as we look to the future," he said.

In a tweet, Johnson said he was looking forward to meeting Modi.

"Wonderful to see you, my friend PM @BorisJohnson in India on a long-awaited visit. Look forward to our discussions today," Modi said in a tweet in his response.

India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar called on PM Johnson earlier.

"Delighted to call on UK PM @BorisJohnson during his India visit. Discussed our expanding partnership and implementing the #IndiaUK Roadmap 2030," Jaishankar tweeted.

In its statement, the high commission said Johnson will also discuss with Modi new cooperation on clean and renewable energy aimed at supporting New Delhi's energy transition away from imported oil.

The WHO chief had landed in Gujarat on Monday on a three-day visit.&nbsp;

PM Modi along with the WHO chief and Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth had attended the ground-breaking ceremony at Jamnagar.

"The WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine is a recognition of India`s contribution and potential in this field. WHO, via this Centre of traditional medicine, has done a new partnership with India," PM Modi said during the ceremony.

"About five decades ago, Jamnagar established the world's first Ayurveda based University. It is named the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda. Jamnagar`s contributions towards wellness will get a global identity with WHO's Global Centre for Traditional Medicine," India's prime minister added.&nbsp;

Tedros along with PM Modi will be inaugurating the Global AYUSH Investment and Innovation Summit in Gandhinagar on Wednesday.&nbsp;
