<p>The director continued, "So I called my friend Priyanka, and despite it being a weekend, she helped us organise the required crew overnight. We began our shoot on Monday morning and wrapped the shoot as initially planned."</p>

<p>Vishal helmed the 2009 film <em>Kaminey</em> and the 2011 film <em>7 Khoon Maaf,</em> both starring Priyanka in lead roles. The two films received great reviews from audiences and critics. Since then Vishal has worked on several&nbsp;films including&nbsp;<em>Haider</em>, <em>Talvar</em>, and <em>Rangoon</em>.</p>

<p>His latest project&nbsp;<em>Khufiya</em>, starring Tabu, Ali Fazal, and Wamiqa Gabbi, was released on Netflix on October 5.</p>

Vishal Bharadwaj visits Priyanka Chopra's LA home; meets Malti for the first time - see pics

<p>Priyanka Chopra takes motherhood seriously, just like any other mom. The global star revealed that she would not think twice before giving up her career for daughter Malti Marie, if such a situation ever arises. In a new interview, Priyanka said she could move countries without question for her daughter Malti, just like the actress’s mother did when she wanted the best for Priyanka.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Priyanka spoke about how her parents gave up their private practice in Bareilly when she was crowned Miss India 2000 at the age of 17. Her late father, Ashok Chopra and mom Madhu, both Indian Army physicians, had just set up a hospital in the UP town. They gave it all up for Priyanka’s career.</p>

<p>&nbsp;"At that time, I took it all completely for granted. I was like, of course it’s your parents’ job to do that. My career matters. And I didn’t even think about it until I was writing my book. And then it dawned on me like now I’m in my 40s. And that, if I were asked to give up my career and just move countries, I would do it without question for my daughter,” revealed Priyanka Chopra.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Priyanka said it was a "huge sacrifice"&nbsp;that her parents made for her. “It is, still, a huge sacrifice. And we are so blessed to have parents who did that. But, there are families under societal pressures that don’t necessarily know that they can let their daughters have aspirations. So, I think that the one thing that we need to do is create a dialogue around parenting, around raising our sons in a way in which there is respect for women, creating opportunities in society where women are in positions of power. Not just getting jobs, but actually being decision makers. I think that’s what’s going to change it for us,” she added.&nbsp;</p>

In a new interview, Priyanka said she could move countries without question for her daughter Malti, just like the actress’s mother did when she wanted the best for Priyanka. Priyanka spoke about how her parents gave up their private practice in Bareilly when she was crowned Miss India 2000 at the age of 17. Her late father, Ashok Chopra and mom Madhu, both Indian Army physicians, had just set up a hospital in the UP town. They gave it all up for Priyanka’s career. "At that time, I took it all completely for granted. I was like, of course it’s your parents’ job to do that. My career matters. And I didn’t even think about it until I was writing my book. And then it dawned on me like now I’m in my 40s. And that, if I were asked to give up my career and just move countries, I would do it without question for my daughter,” revealed Priyanka Chopra. And we are so blessed to have parents who did that. But, there are families under societal pressures that don’t necessarily know that they can let their daughters have aspirations. So, I think that the one thing that we need to do is create a dialogue around parenting, around raising our sons in a way in which there is respect for women, creating opportunities in society where women are in positions of power. Not just getting jobs, but actually being decision makers. I think that’s what’s going to change it for us,” she added. Priyanka Chopra can 'give up her career' for daughter Malti Marie

<p>Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Priyanka Chopra Jonas penned a long note to speak about her recent White House visit. Sharing a photo with Kamala Harris, she recalled her experience of interacting with the US Vice President at the Women’s Leadership Forum conference in Washington DC.</p>

<p>The Indian actress started the caption with&nbsp;Ruth Bader Ginsburg's quote, which read, "Women belong in all places where decisions are being made. It shouldn't be that women are the exception."</p>

<p>The 'Quantico' actress further added, "Since the very beginning, the world has undermined the power of women. We’ve been shunned and silenced, but thanks to the scarifies and tenacity of so many selfless women, we are in a place today where we can come together and work collectively to right the wrongs. This was a key take away from the conversation I had the honour to moderate with @vp, Kamala Harris at the Women’s Leadership Forum conference in Washington DC last night."</p>

<p>Encouraging Americans to step out of their homes and cast their votes from&nbsp;November 8th, Chopra wrote, "Over the last two years, humanity has experienced some of the biggest challenges that we will see in our lifetime.&nbsp;We are faced with an urgent need for stability and progress, and for America&nbsp;that starts at the polls on November 8th. Everyone has a role to play towards that… to be part of the civic process and to exercise the right to vote, especially women because we need to be actively involved in ensuring our rights are being taken care of."</p>

<p>The 40-year-old actress also said that even though she doesn't vote in the US, her husband Nick Jonas does and one day, her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas will too. "While I don’t vote in this country - my husband can and one day, my daughter will," PeeCee wrote. "My conversation with VP Harris centred around the most pressing issues, that, in order to be addressed, needs to have a clear vision and plan."</p>
