Cyclone Narelle has made landfall on the coast of Western Australia as a Category 3 storm, impacting the town of Exmouth and surrounding areas.

Power outages have been reported, with residents affected as the cyclone damaged buildings and tore off the roof of an evacuation centre.

Major energy companies Chevron and Woodside have also reported disruptions at key LNG facilities due to the storm.
