While expressing solidarity with Israel over the recent deaths caused by Hamas militants, US President Joe Biden reminded Israelis “not to get consumed by rage” and said that&nbsp;“it's important sometimes to take a step back and remember what we all are - human beings created with dignity and purpose.”

Biden also stressed that the "majority" of Palestinians are not with Hamas, and added that they are also "suffering greatly”.

"The vast majority of Palestinians are not Hamas. Hamas does not represent the&nbsp;Palestinian people," he said.

"Hamas uses innocents, innocent&nbsp;families in Gaza as human&nbsp;shields, putting their command&nbsp;centres, their weapons and the&nbsp;communications tunnels in&nbsp;residential areas.&nbsp;The Palestinian people are&nbsp;suffering greatly as well," he added.

The US President, describing the assault as "a terrible tragedy on a human level", said that he spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and offered him "all appropriate means of support".

"I told him the United States stands with the people of Israel in the face of these terrorist assaults," Biden said in a televised address from the White House.

"In my administration, support for Israel's security is rock solid and unwavering."

"We'll make sure that they have the help their citizens need and they can continue to defend themselves."

"Israel has a right to defend itself and its people - full stop. Let me say this as clearly as I can; this is not a moment for any party hostile to Israel to exploit these attacks, to seek advantage. The world is watching," he warned.

The allegations made by Trump echoed the accusations made by Republicans that claimed the money which was given to Iran as a part of a prisoner exchange deal last month, was used to fund the Hamas attack.

"Iran has helped fund this war against Israel, and Joe Biden's policies that have gone easy on Iran has helped to fill their coffers. Israel is now paying the price for those policies," said Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican running for his party's presidential nomination.

However, a Biden administration official asserted that not a single cent out of the $6 billion has been spent yet.&nbsp;

"I can't comment on 2024 because of the Hatch Act. But I can clarify the facts: Not a single cent from these funds has been spent, and when it is spent, it can only be spent on things like food and medicine for the Iranian people," said White House National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has warned that Iran was drawing “dangerously close” to producing nuclear weapons.

In an interview to UK’s Telegraph on Saturday, Bennett said, “Iran is enriching uranium at an unprecedented rate and moving dangerously close to getting their hands on nuclear weapons.”

The prime minister called on the global community to ramp up pressure against Tehran’s nuclear program and ambitions.

His comments come at a when there are several reports suggesting that Iran may have already attained the material needed to manufacture a nuclear weapon.

On Thursday, Iran switched off surveillance cameras&nbsp;used by the international nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, to monitor activity at the country's key nuclear facilities.

IAEA chief Rafael Grossi warned that the move could deal a "fatal blow" to negotiations that seek to revive the nuclear deal.

The absence of footage from nuclear sites deprives the negotiators of the nuclear deal —known formally as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) —to "technically impossible to have an agreement," IAEA chief Raphael Grossi told CNN Thursday.

"Or you could have (a deal) on the basis of no information, which I suppose is not going to happen," said Grossi.

"This is why we are saying it's a very serious thing. It has consequences. Of course it does."

The IAEA has said that it did not have access to the data collected by such cameras for more than a year. The agency hopes it will gain access to that data, which remains with Iran, at a later date.

Israel is in secret talks with several Arab states on establishing ties, PM Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday, ahead of the Jewish state's first commercial flight to the UAE following a normalisation accord.

A US-brokered agreement between the Jewish state and Dubai to normalise ties was announced on August 13, making the UAE the first Gulf country and only the third Arab nation to establish relations with Israel, after Egypt and Jordan.&nbsp;

The first-ever commercial flight from Israel to the UAE will on Monday morning carry a US-Israeli delegation led on the American side by White House advisor Jared Kushner, who stood next to Netanyahu during the Israeli premier's remarks on Sunday.&nbsp;

"Today's breakthrough will become tomorrow's norms," Netanyahu said.&nbsp;

"It will pave the way for other countries to normalise their ties with Israel."

Netanyahu's office said last week that National Security Advisor Meir Ben Shabbat will lead the Israeli delegation.

The talks in Abu Dhabi will seek ways to boost cooperation in areas including aviation, tourism, trade, health, energy and security, Netanyahu's office said.

Since the agreement between the UAE and Israel was unveiled, there have been frequent bilateral phone calls between ministers and the signing of commercial contracts.

On Saturday, the Emirates repealed a 1972 law &nbsp;boycotting Israel.

"It will be permissible to enter, exchange or possess Israeli goods and products of all kinds in the UAE and trade in them," read a federal decree issued by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

He summoned the two rivals on Sunday for an "urgent conversation", which ended without agreement, but Likud and Blue and White said the talks would continue.

After the meeting, Rivlin emphasised the need to "intensify direct contacts between the Likud and Kachol Lavan negotiating teams, and welcomed both sides' willingness to do so".

Authorities have banned gatherings of more than 10 people and ordered schools, universities, restaurants and cafes to close, among other measures.

Netanyahu, 70, on Sunday, proposed a six-month unity government that he would lead to manage the response to the pandemic.

He also offered a four-year arrangement that would see the two leaders equally split the job of prime minister.
