<p>The three-day awards gala, which will be held from September 27 to 29, returns to Yas Island Abu Dhabi, for the third time. The extravaganza will conclude with the exclusive, invitation-only event, IIFA Rocks.</p>

<p>Actor Shahid Kapoor, who is the star performer this year, said he is thrilled to be part of this celebration of cinema once again.</p>

<p>Hrithik Roshan made a splash at the recent IIFA Awards as he took home the award for ‘Best Actor- Male’ for his nuanced portrayal of Vedha in the action-drama ‘Vikram Vedha’.</p>

<p>A well-deserved win for a performance that gained him accolades, with several referring to it as his ‘careers finest’, Hrithik Roshan gave Vedha's portrayal a ruthless, terrifyingly mad, yet charming, and delectably mischievous tone.</p>

<p>While receiving the award, he shared "Vedha helped unleash a certain madness inside me which I didn’t know existed. So thank you to the universe &amp; thank you to Vedha for helping me discover that madness &amp; the strength to hold that madness"</p>

<p>Hrithik Roshan didn’t just play the role of ‘Vedha’ but became ‘Vedha’ completely absorbing every element of the character and his nuances. In order to embody ‘Vedha’, Hrithik let go of all inhibitions and as part of his prep was willing to be eccentric and wacky. The superstar absolutely let go and submitted to the process, participating in everything from voice training and speaking gibberish to dialogue rehearsals, dancing to 80s music, emoting to nature, and recording himself to perfect his mannerisms and dialect.</p>

<p>Yas Island in Abu Dhabi was the site of the stunning IIFA Rocks 2022, which brought together splendour, luxury, and octane on one platform. The award show witnessed a breath-taking celebration comprising fun, glamour, delightful acts, and surprises with mesmerising performances all under one roof at the grandest celebration of Indian Cinema, the International Indian Film Academy and Awards (IIFA), in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), and Miral, Abu Dhabi's leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences.&nbsp;</p>

<p>With exciting performances by Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhbir Singh, Palak Muchhal &amp; Iulia Vantur, Sobha Realty IIFA Rocks was presented by Farah Khan and Rajkummar Rao. IIFA Rocks continue to be a venue for displaying musical ability with top-notch performances by music maestros of the business, a musical spectacle befitting the biggest film industry in the world.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The musical spectacular began with a dance performance by Palak Muchhal, who was followed by Farah Khan, who also danced her way into the platform. Rajkummar Rao took the stage while playing the song "Main Hoon Na", and the two recreated a scene from <em>Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,</em> in which they both greeted the crowd and engaged in witty conversation about friendship.</p>

<p>Sunidhi Chauhan, Badshah, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh and Nora Fatehi gave enthralling performances later in the evening. Amit Trivedi captivated the audience with his lovely voice while performing with Arun Kamat, Devendra Palse, Meghna Mishra, and Yashita Sharma. Everyone began dancing to the dhols thanks to Sukhbir Singh and Iulia Vantur. With none other than Nucleya, the evening came to a thrilling conclusion!&nbsp;</p>

<p>Cinematography, Screenplay, Dialogue, Editing, Choreography, Sound Design, Sound Mixing, Background Score, and Special Effects (Visuals) round out the nine categories. The IIFA Rocks evening honoured the Technical Category winners while also honouring the best of Indian cinema at its highest level of achievement with the glitzy IIFA statuette.</p>

<p>One of the key highlights of IIFA Rocks was a special collection showcased by Bollywood’s favourite designer Manish Malhotra. The collection reflected ‘old world charm meets the new world’ that was breakthrough and imaginative and had Salman Khan and Nora Fatehi as the showstoppers for the evening.&nbsp;</p>

Yas Island in Abu Dhabi was the site of the stunning IIFA Rocks 2022, which brought together splendour, luxury, and octane on one platform. The award show witnessed a breath-taking celebration comprising fun, glamour, delightful acts, and surprises with mesmerising performances all under one roof at the grandest celebration of Indian Cinema, the International Indian Film Academy and Awards (IIFA), in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), and Miral, Abu Dhabi's leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences.

With exciting performances by Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhbir Singh, Palak Muchhal & Iulia Vantur, Sobha Realty IIFA Rocks was presented by Farah Khan and Rajkummar Rao. IIFA Rocks continue to be a venue for displaying musical ability with top-notch performances by music maestros of the business, a musical spectacle befitting the biggest film industry in the world. The musical spectacular began with a dance performance by Palak Muchhal, who was followed by Farah Khan, who also danced her way into the platform. Rajkummar Rao took the stage while playing the song "Main Hoon Na", and the two recreated a scene from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, in which they both greeted the crowd and engaged in witty conversation about friendship. Sunidhi Chauhan, Badshah, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh and Nora Fatehi gave enthralling performances later in the evening. Amit Trivedi captivated the audience with his lovely voice while performing with Arun Kamat, Devendra Palse, Meghna Mishra, and Yashita Sharma. Everyone began dancing to the dhols thanks to Sukhbir Singh and Iulia Vantur. With none other than Nucleya, the evening came to a thrilling conclusion! Cinematography, Screenplay, Dialogue, Editing, Choreography, Sound Design, Sound Mixing, Background Score, and Special Effects (Visuals) round out the nine categories. The IIFA Rocks evening honoured the Technical Category winners while also honouring the best of Indian cinema at its highest level of achievement with the glitzy IIFA statuette. One of the key highlights of IIFA Rocks was a special collection showcased by Bollywood’s favourite designer Manish Malhotra. After the unprecedented success of IIFA 2022, the 2023 Sobha IIFA Weekend and NEXA IIFA Awards, partnered by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Miral, are back in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. IIFA 2023 will take place on May 26 and 27.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The event will take place at Abu Dhabi’s state-of-the-art indoor entertainment venue, Etihad Arena, part of Yas Bay Waterfront on Yas Island. The Island is one of the world’s fastest-growing leisure and entertainment destinations. At a press conference held at W Hotel – Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, addressing the media were this year’s hosts Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, Farah Khan, and Rajkummar Rao along with performers Salman Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Nucleya, Sunidhi Chauhan and Iulia Vantur</p>

<p>Joining them were PNC Menon, Taghrid Al Saeed, Executive Director of Group Communications and Destination Marketing at Miral, Hans Fraikin - Film and Television Commissioner, and Sandeep Walia, among other dignitaries for the highly anticipated event that promises to be a mélange of glitz and glamour.&nbsp;</p>

<p>IIFA 2023 will kickstart the mega celebrations tomorrow on 26 May 2023 with IIFA Rocks hosted by Farah Khan Kunder and Rajkummar Rao and will feature performances by Amit Trivedi, along with several popular singers, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Nucleya and Sukhbir Singh. There will also be an exclusive showcase by leading celebrity designer, Manish Malhotra, who is celebrating 25 years in the fashion industry.</p>

<p>The grand finale, IIFA Awards, will take place on 27 May 2023 and will be hosted by Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal along with electrifying performances by Bollywood superstars Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Nora Fatehi and Rakul Preet Singh. Abhishek Bachchan said, "I am thrilled to return to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. It will be an absolute pleasure and honour to entertain and meet fans from all over the world. IIFA 2023 is here: Indian stars get together for Bollywood’s biggest awards

<p>The biggest celebration of Indian cinema, the International Indian Film Academy&nbsp;Awards (IIFA) returns with its 23rd edition to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, on February 9th, 10th and 11th, 2023. As the countdown to the biggest celebration of Indian Cinema worldwide draws near, International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards announced nominations in its 12 popular categories.</p>
