<p>The fighter jet, piloted by Wing Commander Manish Mishra, was conducting a routine training flight when the malfunction occurred and the jet crashed in Sonika village, within the Kagraul police limits of Agra district, around 4:20 pm (IST).</p>

<p>Devesh Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Sainya), Agra, said, "The pilot and co-pilot have been rescued and admitted to the district hospital", adding that he is at the site of the accident and a rescue operation is currently underway at the spot.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Kagarol Station House Officer said, "There was a huge fire after the crash and we are trying to douse the fire."&nbsp;</p>

<p>The event is to take place at Chennai's iconic Marina Beach, where more than a million people are expected to gather. It is after a hiatus of two decades that an air shoe is returning to Chennai and the Indian Air Force has a stellar lineup for mesmerising those at the Marina.</p>

<p>Sunday's air show is part of the Indian Air Force's 92nd-year celebrations. Following the open-to-public air show on Sunday, a restricted-access IAF Day parade will be held on&nbsp;Tuesday (Oct 8), at Air Force Station Tambaram, on the outskirts of Chennai city.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Over the last two years, the Raising Day of India's tri-services have been held in different cities across the country.</p>

<p>Corporal Pahade had resumed duty just 15 days ago after attending his sister's wedding. He was stationed in Jammu and Kashmir.</p>

<p>Hailing from Nonia Karbal area in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, Pahade enlisted in the Indian Air Force in 2011. He is survived by his wife, Rina, and son, Hardik.</p>

<p>The soldier's sister, Geeta Pahade, expressed her pride in her brother.</p>

Many suspects have been picked up for questioning," said Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, as quoted by PTI.</p>

<p>Pahade was supposed to be home for his son's birthday on May 7. He was from Nonia-Karbal village in Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara district.</p>

<p>In a social media post, former MP CM Kamal Nath said: “I salute the martyrdom of Vicky Pahade, a resident of Nonia-Karbal, Chhindwara district, Madhya Pradesh, and pay my tribute to the immortal martyr.”</p>

Corporal Vikky Pahade of the Indian Air Force (IAF) lost his life in an ambush, and four others sustained injuries when terrorists targeted an IAF convoy near Shahsitar in Poonch district on Saturday evening (May 4). Corporal Pahade had resumed duty just 15 days ago after attending his sister's wedding. He was stationed in Jammu and Kashmir. Hailing from Nonia Karbal area in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, Pahade enlisted in the Indian Air Force in 2011. He is survived by his wife, Rina, and son, Hardik. The soldier's sister, Geeta Pahade, expressed her pride in her brother. Many suspects have been picked up for questioning," said Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, as quoted by PTI. Pahade was supposed to be home for his son's birthday on May 7. He was from Nonia-Karbal village in Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara district. In a post on X, the IAF said on Sunday (Feb 25) that its Dornier aircraft was activated on short notice carrying a team of doctors to retrieve a liver from Pune to Delhi on Friday night.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"An IAF Dornier aircraft was activated at short notice to airlift a team of doctors of Army Hospital (R&amp;R), to retrieve a liver from Pune to Delhi during the night on 23 Feb 24," the IAF said.</p>

<p>"The subsequent transplant surgery helped save the life of a veteran," it added. The Army Hospital (Research and Referral) is located in the Delhi Cantonment area for the Indian armed forces where its personnel and their families get treatment.&nbsp;</p>

On July 26 last year, a harvested human heart was airlifted from Nagpur to Pune on an IAF aircraft and later transplanted into a recipient admitted to the Army Institute of Cardio-Thoracic Sciences (AICTS) in western Maharashtra city.</p>

<p>According to a report by the news agency PTI, the live heart, retrieved from a woman declared brain dead, was successfully transplanted into the recipient, a male air warrior at the Pune-based AICTS, later in the day.</p>

<p>An official statement said that the organ was sent through a green corridor created by the civil administration before being transported to Pune, more than 700 km from Nagpur, on an IAF AN-32 aircraft in the “most expeditious” manner.&nbsp;</p>

Indian Air Force saves veteran's life by deploying plane to transfer liver from Pune to Delhi

The Indian Air Force (IAF) at Pokhran range demonstrated its firing capabilities by launching missiles on the dummy targets of the enemy on Saturday at Vayu Shakti exercise. Rafale fired Myka missile from air to air, while Tejas fired R73 missile on the targets. Indigenous missiles Aakash, Samar were fired from surface to air and destroyed the enemy hideouts.
