In an interview with The Today&rsquo;s Show host Sheinelle Jones, Selena Gomez opens up about the things that should really matter to young girls today.

The global superstar is the new face of the luxury label Coach and as part of the brand&rsquo;s philanthropic work, she visited two schools in Los Angeles. The schools are under &ldquo;Step Up&rdquo;, which supports young women through mentorship programs and hopes to instil confidence in them. In her surprise visit to these schools, she mingled with the girls and spoke to Sheinelle Jones about female empowerment, self-acceptance and social media.&nbsp;

The singer has a strong following on social media platforms like Instagram but when asked how much importance she pays to it, Gomez said, &ldquo;I delete the app from my phone at least once a week to deal with bullying in the comments. I just hope they (the girls) know they&#39;re worth more than an Instagram like or comment.&rdquo;&nbsp;

The singer even took a three-month long social media break last summer to focus on her mental health. In her American Music Awards speech she was quoted, &ldquo;I don&#39;t want to see your bodies on Instagram. I want to see what&#39;s in here&rdquo;. Even though there is a lot of pressure on girls to look a certain type, they mustn&#39;t succumb to these.&nbsp;

She emphasized, &ldquo;I want them (girls) to feel like they are capable of doing anything.&rdquo;&nbsp;

Netflix has announced to restore and release Orson Welles film titled &ldquo;The Other Side of the Wind&rdquo;, unfinished since the early 1970s. The company will finance the restoration of the movie, a 1970 film starring John Huston and Dennis Hopper.&nbsp;

Frank Marshall who also worked on the original film will be a part of the restoration project. As part of the official statement, he said, &ldquo;I can&rsquo;t quite believe it, but after 40 years of trying, I am so very grateful for the passion and perseverance from Netflix that has enabled us to, at long last, finally get into the cutting room to finish Orson&rsquo;s last picture.&rdquo;

The movie is a self-aware industry drama. Work on the original movie had started in 1970 but was left unfinished in 1976 owing to a couple of problems like finance, Oswell&rsquo;s ambitious editing process that involved making five different versions of the film simultaneously among others.&nbsp;

The plot of &ldquo;The Other Side of the Wind&rdquo; revolves around the life story of a veteran filmmaker struggling to complete his final film while competing with a crop of younger directors. It stars John Huston in the lead as the filmmaker. The movie also starred Dennis Hopper and Peter Bogdanovich, who are expected to consult on the restoration as well.&nbsp;

The movie was previously attempted to be released as part of a crowdfunding campaign backed by Clint Eastwood and JJ Abrams, but it failed to come together. More than $400,000 was raised in the process but issues around dispute of ownership of the negatives stalled it indefinitely.&nbsp;

In their official release, Ted Sarandos, the chief content officer at Netflix said, &ldquo;Like so many others who grew up worshipping the craft and vision of Orson Welles, this is a dream come true. She realised that she was behaving differently only when she started working on the TV show&nbsp;Lip Sync Battle four months after giving birth to Luna.&nbsp;

Teigan writes, &quot;I had everything I needed to be happy. And yet, for much of the last year, I felt unhappy. What basically everyone around me &ndash; but me &ndash; knew up until December was this: I have postpartum depression. How can I feel this way when everything is so great? I&rsquo;ve had a hard time coming to terms with that, and I hesitated to even talk about this, as everything becomes such a &lsquo;thing&rsquo;.&rdquo;

But even when she realised that something was happening,&nbsp;she found it difficult to speak about it. In her letter, she calls the feeling&nbsp;&ldquo;selfish, icky and weird&rdquo; to admit she was struggling.

Father-daughter duo recreate scenes from 'Beauty and the Beast' in photo shoot

For all the romantic movie lovers, there&rsquo;s great news! After 14 years of the first movie releasing, the hit movie Love Actually is soon going to get its own sequel.

Richard Curtis&nbsp;directed the 2003 romantic Christmas comedy and is believed to be the reason behind this development.&nbsp;However, it will only be a short film where original cast members unite for a cause &mdash;&nbsp;Comic Relief&#39;s Red Nose Day,&nbsp;a charitable event in the US&nbsp;and UK&nbsp;that benefits children worldwide.

In a statement to BBC, Director Richard Curtis said, &ldquo;I would never have dreamt of writing a sequel to &quot;Love Actually&quot;. But I thought it might be fun to do 10 minutes to see what everyone is now up to. Who has aged best? &mdash; I guess that&rsquo;s the big question &hellip; or is it so obviously Liam?&quot;

It&#39;s an all-too-familiar Hollywood story: the out-of-work actor eking out an existence in cheap housing, earning minimum wage delivering pizzas, desperate for his big break.&nbsp;

But for Jay Abdo -- one of the Arab world&#39;s biggest stars before the conflict in Syria made him just another anonymous refugee on the mean streets of Los Angeles -- it has been particularly tough.

Just a few years ago, the 54-year-old actor could not walk the streets in any Middle Eastern country without being mobbed by fans or dine out without being offered free meals.

A household name and a veteran of 43 movies and more than 1,000 TV episodes, Abdo was admired not just for his acting skills but also his willingness to speak his mind in public.

&quot;I had a pretty beautiful life,&quot; he told AFP. &quot;People loved me, on screen and on talk shows when I spoke to people and expressed my culture and points of view.&quot;

Known in Syria by his real first name, Jihad, Abdo is best known for his role in &quot;Bab al-Hara&quot; (&quot;The Neighborhood Gate&quot;), one of the biggest soap operas in history, with up to 50 million viewers per episode.

His path to Hollywood started in 2011 as tensions in Syria were escalating in the wake of the Arab Spring uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt.

Having seen friends arrested or disappear -- some are still missing -- he uprooted in October 2011, leaving behind almost all his wealth and property, to join his wife in Minneapolis.

The couple applied for asylum and drove for three days to Los Angeles with everything they owned so Abdo could find work.&nbsp;

&quot;I met so many people who were shocked that my name was Jihad,&quot; he says, explaining why he became Jay.

Inspired by the drink, which is literally &lsquo;One Century in a Bottle&rsquo;, the movie is directed by Robert Rodriguez and stars Oscar-nominated actor John Malkovich, who also happens to be the writer of the film.

On November 18, 2015, the duo released three teaser trailers of the film. The teasers show three different possible futures that we are moving towards, from a dystopian world to one that is technology-driven.

However, the filmmakers have not included any actual footage from the movie in the teasers. In fact, they have gone at great lengths to keep the movie&rsquo;s plot a secret.

For instance, they&rsquo;ve kept the final product locked in a high-tech safe, which is itself inside a bulletproof glass casing. The case is time-proof and will automatically open for access on the premiere release date, which is November 18, 2115.

Her performance as love rival to the fiery Scarlett O&#39;Hara, played by Leigh, led to de Havilland&#39;s first Oscar nod for best supporting actress. 
 
But she lost out to co-star Hattie McDaniel, who played the character of Mammy and became the first African-American to win an Academy Award. 
 
The film sealed De Havilland&#39;s reputation as one of Hollywood&#39;s top leading ladies, but with her doe-eyed looks she soon felt frustrated at the roles she was offered, fearful of being typecast as a sweet, innocent young thing.
