A 300-year-old handwritten manuscript of the Guru Granth Sahib, believed to have once belonged to Maharaja Kharak Singh, has been brought to Scotland and will be displayed for devotees at the Central Gurdwara Glasgow.

The 'Guru Granth Sahib saroops', which were seized by Qatar authorities for running a religious establishment without permission, were brought to Amritsar and have been handed over to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), following India's Ministry of External Affairs intervention.
