Sherry had reportedly barged into the restaurant which was packed with families, who all witnessed the attack.

However, as per Daily Mail, after entering the restaurant, Sherry was overpowered and received up to 30 stab wounds, which proved fatal.

Shocking videos from the incident uploaded on social media appear to show Sherry lying in the street covered with blood, as a patron of the restaurant hits him over the head with a chair.

Police believe that the motive for the shooting is an ongoing feud between drug&nbsp;gangs in Corduff, Blanchardstown, and Finglas in north Dublin.

Following Sherry's death, the police now fear an all-out war between the two factions and have urged the public to avoid sharing videos of the incident.

The grieving mother urging for donations wrote, "Hi my name is Marey Hand and my son was murdered on Christmas Eve, his name was Tristan Sherry. We made this to raise money for his funeral cost in this difficult time. We are absolutely heartbroken that this has happened."&nbsp;

"He was well known for his love of motorcycles and was loved by many. He was an amazing Son, Brother, Father and Friend. We can’t believe life has to go on without him," she added.&nbsp;

The Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC), along with 80-odd community bodies, launched its Oxygen for India marathon fundraiser to collect $2 million to send oxygen equipment to India, even as Ontario announced to send 2,000 more ventilators to the Covid-battered country. 
 
Almost $500,000 was raised during the very first session of the marathon fundraiser on Sunday.

ICCC president Vijay Thomas said their initiative aims at garnering donations not only from the 1.6 million Indo-Canadian community, but also businesses and cities across Canada. 
 
"The money will be used to send oxygen concentrators and generators and we will find new pathways to send oxygen to India. We want to ensure that oxygen reaches tier 2 and 3 cities and towns before they get severely hit by the virus," Thomas said. 
 
Top political leaders, including the Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Mayors, business owners and medical professionals took part in the marathon fundraiser. 
 
Ford announced that 2,000 additional ventilators are being sent to India, in addition to 3,000 already delivered. 
 
"The whole plane-load of Air Canada is filled from front to back and arriving (in India) by Tuesday with all sorts of supplies. The people of India have been there for us and we will be there for them," the Ontario Premier said, referring to India's delivery of one million vaccine doses to Canada earlier this year. 
 
Markham city's Frank Scarpitti, who has been to India many times and is very well respected in the Indo-Canadian community, announced to donate $10,000 to the initiative by the ICCC.

According to Biden's press secretary TJ Ducklo, Obama's fund-raiser event has drawn out a major audience and has raised the most successful finance event of the entire campaign.&nbsp;

Dukclo to Twitter and said that some $7.6 million of that came from 175,000 grassroots donors "who continue to power this campaign every single day."&nbsp;

Obama made a split-screen appearance with Biden for the first time since mid-April when he endorsed his former vice-president.&nbsp;

"I am here to say the help is on the way if we do the work because there's nobody I trust more to be able to heal this country and get back on track than my dear friend Joe Biden," said Obama.

"What makes me optimistic is the fact that there is a great awakening going on around the country, particularly among younger people" who are "fed up with the shambolic, disorganized, mean-spirited approach to governance that we've seen over the last couple of years," he added.

Biden agreed with Obama's point about political change and has said that global leaders have grown weary of Trump and " desperately, desperately waiting for American leadership."

Biden has not campaigned in-person due to the coronavirus outbreak, whereas, Trump has disregarded his own government's guidelines and held several in-person events, including a weekend rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In May, Biden and the Democratic Party raised nearly $81 million, 10 per cent more than Trump, although the president has more overall campaign cash.

Neither celebrity is accused in the scheme which the SEC yesterday said raised more than $32 million from thousands of investors.

The SEC charged Sohrab "Sam" Sharma and Robert Farkas, co-founders of Centra Tech Inc, with violating the anti-fraud and registration provisions of US securities laws.

Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) have sprung from nowhere to become a hugely popular way for start-ups to raise funds online, offering self-created digital "tokens" or coins to any willing buyer.

But regulators around the world have warned of the risks of fraud, the volatility of virtual currencies and the lack of clarity on what a "token" represents.

Sharma and Farkas are accused of masterminding a fraudulent ICO in which Centra offered and sold unregistered investments through a "CTR Token."

The charges, filed in New York, also say the pair "claimed that funds raised in the ICO would help build a suite of financial products," such as debit cards that would allow users to instantly convert hard-to-spend cryptocurrencies into legal tender.

In reality, there was no relationship with legitimately-backed debit cards, the complaint alleges. 
Centra "sold investors on the promise of new digital technologies by using a sophisticated marketing campaign," an SEC statement said.

"The defendants relied heavily on celebrity endorsements and social media to market their scheme," Steve Peikin, co-director of the SEC's Division of Enforcement, said in a statement.

"Endorsements and glossy marketing materials are no substitute for the SEC's registration and disclosure requirements as well as diligence by investors."

The value of ICOs exploded last year when investors poured $3.6 billion into 228 projects, up from USD 96 million for 46 ICOs in 2016.

The gold-rush fever surrounding ICOs partly stems from the soaring success of bitcoin, and firms issuing ICOs have raised their visibility by enlisting celebrities.
