<p><strong>Hollywood sweetheart Emma Watson</strong> left everyone heartbroken after it was revealed by her agent that the ‘Harry Potter’ star has reportedly retired from acting.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Best known for her role in Harry Potter as Hermoine Granger, Emma Watson has been lying low for sometime in terms of being a part of films. There have been rumours before of the actress taking a step back from acting but this is the first time it has been confirmed by her agent.</p>

<p>According to a report in the Daily Mail, Emma Watson has gone “dormant”, stated her agent who went on to claim that she's “given up acting.”</p>

<p>The report further states that Emma, who has been an actress since she was 9, has decided to a step back from the limelight. She is reportedly looking forward to spending time with her rumoured fiancé, Leo Robinton, with whom she has been with for 18 months.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Emma Waston is also not a part of any project at the moment.</p>

<p>Soon after this news took over the internet, Emma Watson's manager at&nbsp;Untitled Entertainment,&nbsp;Jason Weinberg said that's not the case. In a statement to EW, he said, "Emma's social media accounts are dormant but her career isn't."</p>

<p>"There is so much racism, both in our past and present, that is acknowledged nor accounted for."White supremacy is one of the systems of hierarchy and dominance, of exploitation and oppression, that is tightly scheduled into society. As a white person, I have benefited from this," the 30-year-old actor wrote.<br />

Watson emphasized on the importance of working even harder internally and externally to tackle the "structural and institutional racism."</p>

<p>There is a new word to describe singlehood and we have actress Emma Watson to thank for&nbsp;it. Watson, who is soon turning 30, stated that she preferred the term 'self-partnered' instead of being called single in a new interview to British Vogue.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“I never believed the whole ‘I’m happy single’ spiel,” Watson said. “I was like, ‘This is totally spiel.’ It took me a long time, but I’m very happy (being single). I call it being self-partnered.”</p>

<p>Watson also revealed her upcoming birthday initially set off some anxiety and stress about having a partner and building a life with them.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Watson went on to explain the importance of the helpline in her statement."Understanding what your rights are, how you can assert them, and the choices you have if you`ve experienced harassment, is such a vital part of creating safe workplaces for everyone, and this advice line is such a huge development in ensuring that all women are supported, wherever we work," she said.<br />

<p>Movie stars Emma Watson and Amanda Seyfried launched legal action Wednesday after private pictures were stolen and posted online, while Mischa Barton spoke of her anguish over a leaked sex tape.</p>

<p>Although the photographs of 26-year-old Watson merely show her trying on outfits, the images of Seyfried and Barton show them in a series of compromising and sexually explicit poses.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Watson&#39;s publicist said her stolen pictures were taken during a fitting she had with a stylist &quot;a couple of years ago,&quot; without offering further details about the circumstances of the shoot or how the images had ended up in the wrong hands.</p>

<p>&quot;They are not nude photographs. Lawyers have been instructed and we are not commenting further,&quot; he told AFP.</p>

<p>TMZ posted what it described as a threatening letter from the actress&#39;s lawyer to Celeb Jihad, demanding it immediately take down the images.</p>
