Mount McKinley, named after former US President William McKinley, was renamed Denali in 1975 to honour its Indigenous heritage. 
The name "Denali," meaning &ldquo;tall&rdquo; in the Koyukon language, was adopted following a request from the state of Alaska.
&ldquo;These changes reaffirm the Nation&rsquo;s commitment to preserving the extraordinary heritage of the United States and ensuring that future generations celebrate the legacy of its heroes and historical landmarks,&rdquo; the Interior Department explained.

Russia on Friday responded to US President Donald Trump's remarks, where he said that the war in Ukraine could be ended by reducing the oil prices, by saying that the conflict is about national security and not oil prices.&nbsp;
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said the Russia-Ukraine war was triggered by the West's refusal to consider Russian security interests.&nbsp;
&ldquo;The conflict doesn't depend on oil prices,&rdquo; Peskov said in a conference call with reporters.&nbsp;

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that he is ready to hold talks with Trump on the Ukraine conflict. 
"As for the issue of negotiations...we have always said, and I want to emphasise this once again, that we are ready for these negotiations on Ukrainian issues," Putin told a reporter from Russian state TV.
Meanwhile, Peskov on Friday also highlighted that Putin was ready to talk to Trump but was waiting for the 'signal' from Washington.&nbsp;
When asked about Trump's claims that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready for a peace deal, Peskov reiterated the Ukrainian leader's earlier decision to rule out any talks with Russia.&nbsp;

Trump further criticised Zelensky for resisting Russia at the beginning of the invasion instead of cutting a deal.

"We started pouring equipment... and they (Ukraine) had the bravery to use the equipment, but in the end, it&rsquo;s a war that has to be settled," Trump said.

"The crown prince affirmed the kingdom's intention to broaden its investments and trade with the United States over the next four years, for $600 billion and potentially beyond that," the Saudi Press Agency reported.
It did not give details of the source of the funds, which represent more than half of Saudi GDP, or how they are expected to be used.
Prince Mohammed, 39, also passed on congratulations from his father, King Salman, to Trump during the call.
Trump's first visit as president to Saudi Arabia was in 2017, and this week&nbsp;he joked that a major financial commitment could persuade him to do the same again.
"I did it with Saudi Arabia last time because they agreed to buy $450 billion worth of our products," he said.
Trump quipped he would repeat the visit, "if Saudi Arabia wanted to buy another 450 or 500 (billion dollars) -- we'll up it for all the inflation".
