As per reports, Atishi is expected to take oath as Delhi CM during a special Assembly session scheduled for September 26-27.

Assembly elections in Delhi are due in February but Kejriwal has called for early elections in November, a decision that lies with the Election Commission of India.

While Kejriwal appeals for the relief, his aide and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was finally granted bail in the same case by the apex court last week after spending 17 months in jail.&nbsp;

During the hearing, representatives of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) opposed Kejriwal's bail extension plea, saying the Supreme Court order only allowed the Delhi CM to file a regular bail application.

The ED also said before Special Judge Kaveri Baweja that Kejriwal has made false claims regarding his ill health and has suppressed important facts.

The agency also disputed Kejriwal's weight loss claims, saying he has gained one kilogramme of weight instead. It added Kejriwal couldn't take time to take medical tests over the past weeks even as he roamed around the country to do campaigning.

As Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal continues to languish behind bars due to his alleged involvement in the liquor policy scam, his cabinet minister Atishi has claimed that the ruling BJP is plotting to&nbsp;kill the CM, a news agency reported.&nbsp;

"From past few days, Kejriwal's sugar level is over 300 mg/dl, but he has been denied insulin by Tihar jail authorities. There's a conspiracy to kill Kejriwal by stopping his home cooked food supply," she reportedly said.

Atishi leveled grave allegations against the ruling party during a press conference held on Thursday (Apr 18), as per PTI.&nbsp;

"The BJP through its wing ED is trying to harm Kejriwal's health. They are trying to stop the supply of home-cooked food to Kejriwal in jail. The ED lied in court and said that Kejriwal is&nbsp;having tea with sugar and eating sweets. This is a complete lie. Kejriwal is taking an artificial sweetener," she reportedly said.

This comes after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) told a Delhi court that Kejriwal was intentionally consuming sweets to elevate his blood sugar level in a bid to secure bail.

Refuting these claims, Delhi Minister and AAP leader Atishi said, "To control his sugar level, Arvind Kejriwal takes 54 units of insulin every day. This many units of insulin are taken by those who have severe diabetes. What food you eat, and which exercise you do, all are necessary for a diabetic patient. That's the reason the court has allowed him to have home-made food."&nbsp;

"Any doctor will tell you that diabetes patients are asked to carry banana or any toffee or chocolate because a drop in sugar-level can be dangerous for life. The ED said he is eating aloo-puri. The ED should be afraid of God for lying so much. He ate puri only on the first day of Navratra. All these lies are being spread by the BJP and ED to stop the supply of home-cooked food to Kejriwal," she claimed.&nbsp;

The accusation by ED over Kejriwal's diet came as the court considered Kejriwal's request to consult his regular doctor in jail via virtual conferencing due to fluctuating blood sugar levels. The court scheduled the matter for tomorrow and instructed Tihar jail authorities to submit a medical report on Kejriwal in addition to the details of his diet.

The hearing is set for tomorrow at 2 PM. Notably, Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21 and his judicial custody is due to expire on April 23.

Atishi leveled grave allegations against the ruling party during a press conference held on Thursday (Apr 18), as per PTI. "The BJP through its wing ED is trying to harm Kejriwal's health. They are trying to stop the supply of home-cooked food to Kejriwal in jail. The ED lied in court and said that Kejriwal is having tea with sugar and eating sweets. This is a complete lie. Kejriwal is taking an artificial sweetener," she reportedly said. Refuting these claims, Delhi Minister and AAP leader Atishi said, "To control his sugar level, Arvind Kejriwal takes 54 units of insulin every day. This many units of insulin are taken by those who have severe diabetes. What food you eat, and which exercise you do, all are necessary for a diabetic patient. That's the reason the court has allowed him to have home-made food." All these lies are being spread by the BJP and ED to stop the supply of home-cooked food to Kejriwal," she claimed.
