During a match between Trinbago Knight Riders and St Lucia Kings at Warner Park, Pollard was visibly disappointed after a wideish delivery was bowled by Wahab Riaz was not given a wide ball. The questionable umpiring decision upset both Seifert (who was at the striker's end), and Pollard (who was at the non-striker's end).

Pollard had an argument with the umpire for the call and after a brief chat he decided to ar away from the non-striker's end. As a sign of protest, Pollard stood near the 30-yard mark.&nbsp;

The Amazon Warriors have retained 11 of the players who guided them to the semi-finals of the 2020 event. Nicholas Pooran made the only century of last year’s tournament and he will be back with the Warriors this year along with Shimron Hetmyer and Brandon King. The Warriors will also be welcoming back South African leg spinner Imran Tahir and Afghan fast bowler Naveen ul Haq. The Trinbago Knight Riders have announced the players they are retaining ahead of the 2021 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) which gets underway in St Kitts and&nbsp;Nevis on August 28. <o:p></o:p>

The Knight Riders have held on to 13 of the players who saw them complete a perfect season in 2020, winning all 12 of their matches to claim a fourth CPL title. <o:p></o:p>

The team will be led by Kieron Pollard, Wisden’s leading T20 cricketer in the world, with Colin Munro, Lendl Simmons and Darren Bravo back after fantastic performances last season.

Trinbago Knight Riders announce 2021 retentions for CPL 2021

The 2021 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) will take place in St Kitts &amp; Nevis in its entirety, with all 33 games being played in the Federation. The tournament will get underway on August 28 with a similar format of games that worked successfully in 2020 and delivered a record audience of over 500 million.

Last year the tournament was successfully staged in a bio-secure bubble and the CPL operations team will again be working closely with the tournament’s medical advisors, local agencies and the St Kitts &amp; Nevis government to ensure the health and safety of all those involved in the tournament as well as the local population. Notably, St Kitts &amp; Nevis has no COVID-19 transmission and is one of the safest places to visit in the Caribbean.

Warner Park has been the scene to some of the most iconic matches in CPL history and this quick scoring ground will be an ideal venue for the tournament and fans can expect explosive cricket.

From Chris Gayle’s brilliant hundred against the Jamaica Tallawahs in 2019 to Andre Russell’s even more explosive century against the Trinbago Knight Riders in 2016, Warner Park has had some classic individual performances.
