<p>“The United States is not going to dive into the middle, militarily dive into the middle, of a Syrian civil war. What we are going to do is focus on the American national security priorities and interests,” said Sullivan.</p>

<p>“The first, critically is, do not let this allow for the resurgence of ISIS [the Islamic State terror group], and we are going to take steps to make sure that that happens.</p>

<p>"Second, we do have a profound interest in shoring up the security of our partners in the region – Israel, Jordan, Iraq, others – we’ll do that.</p>

<p>"And third, we will attend to the humanitarian situation because we believe that we have an obligation to do that," he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>There has been renewed fighting in the last few days in Syria’s civil war in which more than 300,000 people have lost their lives and around six million refugees have left the country since it started in 2011.</p>

<p>"Earthquake of Magnitude: 5.4, Occurred on 13-06-2023, 13:33:42 IST, Lat: 33.15 &amp; Long: 75.82, Depth: 6 Km, Location: Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, India," tweeted the agency.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"An earthquake of 5.4 magnitude was recorded in J&amp;K's Doda today. Tremors might have been felt in HP, Chandigarh, Punjab and all adjoining areas. Maybe the aftershock will be of lesser magnitude than the main shock," said Dr OP Mishra, director of National Center for Seismology.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The earthquake scared school children. People in shops rushed out. It was scary. This was more intense than the tremors last week," a local from Srinagar was quoted as saying by ANI.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to reports, the tremors were also felt in Pakistan's Lahore city.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, no property damage or casualty has&nbsp;been reported&nbsp;so far as&nbsp;the authorities continue to closely monitor the situation.&nbsp;</p>
