<p>An explosion&nbsp;at The Rameshwaram Cafe in Whitefield, Bengaluru on Friday (March 1) reportedly&nbsp;injured four people,&nbsp;including&nbsp;three staff members and a customer.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of the&nbsp;Karnataka state has now confirmed that the blast was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED).&nbsp;"There is information of a bag from which the explosion occurred, but we have to get the exact information from the department," he said, adding that he wouldn't like to speculate about the involvement of any organisation or anything.</p>

<p>According to ANI report, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) will visit the Bengaluru explosion site as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).</p>

<p>Immediately after the incident, the police and fire brigade teams rushed to the site to douse the fire and were seen analysing the aftereffects of the explosion.</p>

<p>After the incident, shattered glass and furniture were seen strewn on the floor of the cafe, which is very popular among the locals.</p>

<p>The area was soon secured by the police and fire brigade teams and the wounded were rushed to the hospital.</p>

<p>"We received a call of an explosion at the Rameshawaram cafe, we reached the spot, and analysed the situation," a Whitefield Fire Station official said.</p>

<p>The Bengaluru police have launched a probe into the incident to find&nbsp;the exact reason behind the explosion.</p>

<p>The Rameshwaram Cafe is a&nbsp;popular hangout place for the locals&nbsp;and is usually crowded during lunch hours.</p>

<p lang="en-US">As per the&nbsp;Election Commission of Pakistan's (ECP) electoral list, Kakar is an independent candidate who is contesting for PB-47 with ‘bowl’ as his electoral symbol.</p>

<p lang="en-US">The second blast took place&nbsp;outside the office of&nbsp;Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) in the Killa Saifullah district, in which at&nbsp;least 12 people were killed and several others were&nbsp;injured,&nbsp;according to Deputy Commissioner Yasir Bazai.</p>

<h2><strong>Election Commission of Pakistan seeks report on blasts</strong></h2>

<p>The Election Commission of Pakistan took notice of the blast in Pishin and immediately sought reports from the provincial police chief and provincial chief secretary.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“The election commission has sought immediate reports from the chief secretary and the Balochistan police chief and directed them to take action against those involved in the incident,” said the commission, as reported by Dawn.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Balochistan’s caretaker Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Mir Zubair Khan Jamali took notice of the blast in Pishin.</p>

<p>In his statement, Jamali expressed regret over the lives which were lost in the blast and asked the deputy commissioner to submit a report.</p>

<p>He said that the enemies of the country have been looking to create instability. “The election process will not be affected by such an attack,” Jamali said.</p>

<h2><strong>Balochistan minister appeals people to vote</strong></h2>

<p>Caretaker Interior Minister Gohar Ejaz strongly condemned the blast which took place outside the independent candidate’s election office in Pishin.</p>

<p>In a post shared on X, the interim minister offered his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives.</p>

<p>The blast in Pishin was condemned by Interim Balochistan Chief Minister Ali Mardan Khan Domki and he sought a report from the interior ministry.</p>

<p>"At least eight people had very serious injuries... we are here at the site and focussed on rescue work and sending people to the hospitals, so we can't immediately confirm the number of dead," said Kailash Chand Parte, a senior district official who was co-ordinating rescue effort.</p>

<p>"We have managed to rescue about 70 to 75 people with&nbsp;injuries so far. All of them have been rushed to local government hospitals."</p>

<p>Parte said that around 200 to 300 people worked at the factory. Though it is feared that many of them are still inside the factory, the exact number is not clear.</p>

<p>"At least 10 buildings around the complex where the blast happened have been damaged because of the intensity of the explosion", he added.</p>

<p>"The fire is still not under control and we have around 15 fire engines and many rescue workers at the site".</p>

<p>Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has taken cognisance of the tragedy and said that instructions had been given to major hospitals in the areas to "make necessary preparations".</p>

<p>A landmine has killed 10 civilians on a bus in northern Sudan, a medical source said Sunday, in what appeared to be the first such incident during the country's war.</p>

<p>The conflict pitting the regular army against the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) erupted in April, and has led to thousands of people being killed and millions displaced.</p>

<p>A medical source at a hospital in Shendi city in River Nile state, who requested anonymity, told AFP that "10 civilians were killed as a result of a mine explosion on a bus" on Saturday.</p>

<p>The vehicle was transporting the passengers from eastern Al-Jazira state to Shendi, 180 kilometres (112 miles) from Khartoum, when the blast happened, the source said.&nbsp;</p>
