The house now has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, class-A glassy walls and a breath-taking view of the Downtown LA skyline. The whole house features interiors of unvarnished woods and other similar natural materials to match the muted palette of grey and cream tones throughout the house.<o:p></o:p>

In the back of the house is an open rectangular pool a few feet away from the house which sends a sense of calmness in the areas — which is something the new owner’s fellow countrymen have been craving.<o:p></o:p>

US real estate scion&nbsp;Robert&nbsp;Durst&nbsp;was Friday convicted of killing his best friend to prevent her talking to police about his wife's disappearance.

Durst, a multi-millionaire who was the subject of explosive HBO documentary "The Jinx," had always denied that he shot Susan Berman in the back of the head in 2000 at her Beverly Hills home.

But a jury in Los Angeles took a total of just eight hours to find the 78-year-old guilty of the execution-style slaying.

Prosecutors had said he murdered crime writer Berman in December 2000 to prevent her from being questioned by New York police over the disappearance of his wife Kathleen two decades earlier.

Berman, the daughter of a Las Vegas mobster, had acted as a spokeswoman for&nbsp;Durst&nbsp;after he became a suspect in Kathleen's disappearance.

Durst, an estranged member of one of New York's wealthiest and most powerful real estate dynasties, was never charged in his wife's case.

He was arrested in March 2015 in a New Orleans hotel room in connection with Berman's murder, hours before the final episode of the HBO documentary "The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of&nbsp;Robert&nbsp;Durst" aired.

In the documentary's stunning finale,&nbsp;Durst&nbsp;is heard muttering to himself, "There it is, you're caught" and "Killed them all, of course" -- apparently unaware that a microphone remained switched on while he used the restroom.

The series also delved into the 2001 death of&nbsp;Durst's neighbor in Texas, Morris Black, who was found dismembered.&nbsp;

Durst&nbsp;admitted the dismemberment, but claimed the killing was self-defense. He was acquitted.

Durst&nbsp;testified for 14 days in a trial that gripped local media.

He repeatedly denied any involvement in Berman's death, but acknowledged he had written an anonymous letter to police telling them that her body lay in her Beverly Hills home.

Prosecutor John Lewin told the jury there was a "mountain of evidence" that&nbsp;Durst&nbsp;had killed all three people with whose deaths he had been connected.

He said a friend of&nbsp;Durst&nbsp;had testified that the real estate magnate had told him of Berman: "It was her or me. I had no choice."

"He has never been held accountable for his domestic abuse of (wife) Kathie. He was never held accountable for her death. The last 20 years he's gotten away with murdering Susan," Lewin told the jury.&nbsp;

"For the last 20 years, he's avoided responsibility for Morris Black.&nbsp;Durst&nbsp;is not jinxed. He's a three-time killer who has managed to escape accountability until this very moment."

Durst&nbsp;was not in court when the verdict was read because he was isolating following an exposure to someone with Covid-19.

He will be sentenced on October 18, and faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Miniature cameras fitted inside women's handbags, birdboxes, belt buckles, shoebrushes, signet rings and ties -- and used by real secret agents -- are all going on the block.&nbsp;

"People are looking to get their hands on really unique, different pieces from a time when digital didn't exist and analog was the way of life," Frederick added.&nbsp;

Following the fall of the Soviet Union, many items were discarded in Eastern Europe and eventually made their way to New York's short-lived KGB museum, which opened in January 2019 but closed last year due to the pandemic.&nbsp;

Among those for sale on this Saturday, both on-site in California and via the internet, are a fake tooth containing deadly cyanide expected to fetch up to $1,200.&nbsp;

"The tooth was designed to shatter when bitten a certain way so that captured agents could end their own lives when necessary to avoid torture or the release of compromising information," explains the auction catalog.&nbsp;

The collection also includes a replica of the 'Bulgarian umbrella' used in 1978 in London to fatally poison Bulgarian dissident Georgi Markov in one particularly infamous Cold War episode. It is estimated at between $3,000 and $5,000.&nbsp;

That said, the World Cup was not the factor to sign Lionel Messi. We are hopeful that he continues to play for his national team, and we will see him here in 2026.”

“Pele led the foundation when he came to America in 1975. Fast forward 2007, David Beckham joined MLS - a relatively new league then, and then Messi comes this year. He's taken it to an entirely different level. He's accelerated the growth of our league and this sport in North America like nothing we have ever seen before,” he said.

Dan revealed how the social media numbers got influenced as well.&nbsp;

“Earlier, Inter Miami had a decent Instagram following (around 1 million) before Messi joined the club, and they are now at 13 million followers. We have seen the response on social media in his first couple of games. He's a global icon, and he's resonating,” MLS’ Executive VP added.

He added when Messi travels across USA (Since he played three home games so far), there are going to be packed stadiums everywhere.

“We knew that he was going to have an impact on the relevance of Inter Miami and Major League Soccer's popularity, and it translates to jersey sales. When he travels on the road, which he has not yet (since his first three games were at home), you will see packed stadiums in USA and Canada welcoming him to our league,” he added.

The Wall Street Journal, who first broke this story, also said Amazon chief has bought three New York apartments earlier this year in a deal valued nearly $80 million.

The cast of the 1990s hit 'Beverly Hills, 9021' returns to U.S. television on Wednesday, much older but promising lots of the juicy drama that made their teenage characters famous. 
 
The six, one-hour episodes of 'BH90210' on the Fox broadcast network are not a typical remake. The series features seven of the original stars playing exaggerated versions of their real-life selves who reunite to create a reboot of the show that had been a pop culture phenomenon. 
 
The idea originated with co-stars Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling and was fleshed out with input from the rest of the returning cast, the actors said. 
 
"We wanted to leave it to the audience to decipher what`s real, what`s based on something real, what`s completely fictionalized," Spelling said at a Television Critics Association event where networks preview new shows. 
 
"We think they will have a lot of fun doing that," she added. 
 
Spelling described the tone of the series as "a blend of drama, comedy and soap." Garth emphasized the soap part of the formula, dubbing it a "soap-edy." 
 
The series also squeezes in dream sequences and throwbacks to the original shows to feed fan nostalgia, the actors said. 
 
Critics have generally embraced the approach. Sixty-five percent of reviews were positive on the Rotten Tomatoes website.

"As midlife crises go, you could do a lot worse than Fox`s `BH90210,` a clever and intentionally cheesy reunion," wrote Hank Stuever of The Washington Post.&nbsp; 
 
'Beverly Hills, 90210,' which aired from 1990 to 2000, told the story of a group of high school students living the sweet life amid Southern California affluence while dealing with teen angst, as well as more serious issues such as date rape, AIDS and teen pregnancy.&nbsp; 
 
Now, the characters face challenges such as broken marriages and growing older and wondering if they have fulfilled their potential, star Gabrielle Carteris said.

Also returning are Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Ian Ziering and Brian Austin Green.

"The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time," Robinson said in a statement. 
 
Perry was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on Wednesday after suffering the stroke at his home, celebrity website TMZ.com reported last week. TMZ said on Monday that Perry never recovered consciousness. 
 
Perry was taken ill the same day that Fox television announced it was reviving the 'Beverly Hills 90210' series with many of the original cast, including Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling. Perry was not among those announced as returning for the limited run of six new episodes this summer. 
Since 2016, Perry had played Fred Andrews, father of Archie Andrews, in the television series 'Riverdale,' a dark twist on the Archie comic books, but more than 20 years earlier the actor had been a heartthrob who adorned the cover of scores of magazines aimed at adolescent girls, thanks to 'Beverly Hills 90210.' 
 
Perry`s death prompted an outpouring of grief.

He eventually gave up the personal appearances for security concerns and did not like being considered a "teen idol." 
 
"My problem with that is it`s inaccurate for two reasons," he said at a news conference in 1992. "One, I`m not a teenager. Two, I don`t think anyone idolizes anybody."&nbsp; 
 
Perry left '90210' after its sixth season but returned two years later as the show finished its 10-year run.
