Eight accused of stealing Banksy tribute to Bataclan victims go on trial

<p>The famous graffiti artist Banksy is back on the walls. After speculations about whether or not the latest street art pieces in Suffolk and Norfolk were Banksy’s creations, the artist has claimed the art as his work.</p>

<p>Titled 'A Great British Spraycation', the artist posted a video on Instagram that showed him making several street art pieces in different locations in the UK.</p>

<p>The Internet had been going abuzz with reporting of several pieces of street art, most famous being a rat relaxing on a deckchair under an umbrella with a martini glass in its hand.</p>

<p>Another famous piece is a child looking out towards the sea while another one looks over his shoulder from behind and another child at the back of the boat leaning to a side while holding a bucket.</p>

<p>In the video, the artist can be seen travelling in his white caravan with a bucket full of spray cans, which he uses to create art pieces on walls of different areas.</p>

<p>A recent Banksy graffiti showed up on the side of a house in Bristol and resulted in a sudden surge in the value of the house, giving the owners a push to sell the house 'at the right time'. However, with a big name, comes greater responsibilities.</p>

<p>The graffiti, titled, "Achoo", appeared on the white wall of a semi-detached home in Bristol. It shows a woman sneezing with her dentures flying out which is resulting in other houses on the streets getting knocked&nbsp;down.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While the graffiti is new, the plans of selling the house have been in the pipeline for a while now, the owners revealed. As per the residents, they had been trying to find the right buyer for their semi-detached house and were also about to finalise the deal, when they decided to wait until the graffiti was done as they were told the value of the house would skyrocket.</p>

<p>When the artwork appeared on the wall, the owners of the house considered not selling the house. However, within a few days, they decided to go back to the original plan of selling the high-rated property.</p>

<p>An Italian coastguard vessel came to the rescue Saturday of a rescue vessel funded by British street artist Banksy, which sent out a distress signal on Saturday with more than 200 migrants onboard.</p>

<p>The German-flagged MV Louise Michel said it was stranded and needed urgent help after lending assistance to a boat that was carrying at least one dead migrant.</p>

<p>The 31-metre (101-foot) vessel's crew said it was overcrowded and unable to move after encountering another boat attempting to cross the expanse of sea dividing Europe and Africa with 130 people on board.</p>

<p>"There is already one dead person on the boat. We need immediate assistance," the Louise Michel crew wrote on Twitter, saying other migrants had fuel burns and had been at sea for days.</p>

<p>The vessel's crew of 10 had earlier rescued another 89 people from a rubber boat in distress on Thursday.</p>

Italian authorities on Tuesday (14 JULY 2020) returned to France a stolen Banksy artwork that was painted as a tribute to the victims of the 2015 attacks at the Bataclan music hall in Paris.
